The head instructor at Hill Crest Farm, Lisa, has been in the equine industry since she was just 7 years old. The passion that was passed down from her father?himself an avid horseman?never wavered, and in 2003 she realized her lifelong dream of opening her own stable. During lessons and camps, she passes on the knowledge she's gained during her three decades in the sport, including the riding disciplines of hunter/jumper, equitation, dressage, and western. She not only imparts proper technique, but she also teaches love for the horse, horsemanship skills, and confidence?values that are equally important whether students are young or old, longtime riders or just starting out.

Today, the twist they envisioned comes in several forms, such as community education programs, conveniently designed self-serve washing stations, and a stock of healthier food choices for pets—including, of course, baked goodies.
