And just as points on a circle share a common distance from the circle's center, workout participants share the experiences of those nearby, trading stations throughout the 30-minute training session. 30 seconds is spent on a piece of strength-training equipment built for feminine frames and designed to work two opposing muscle groups with a single movement. Exercisers then move on to a recovery station, where they run, jog, or dance to maintain heart rates and keep platforms in place during momentary losses of gravity.

The group classes of around 10–20 students foster a collaborative environment in which a teacher uses an overhead camera to demonstrate chord positions, useful techniques, and little-known shadow puppets like the wallowing lemur, which students can then emulate at individual practice stations. The simple philosophy teaches new disciples and piano latecomers to play chords and harmonies using the left hand and to walk through a melody of individual notes with the right. The eight-week course is intended to provide graduates the ability to read and play popular, listenable tunes, such as "Poker Face" in the style of Yanni.
