In Robby Blanchard's biography photo on his website, he prepares to lift a heavily stacked barbell. The determination is clear on his face—the same determination that carried him through a bachelors of science in exercise, an MBA in Business Management, three CrossFit-training certifications in varying styles, not including the fact he's a USA Weightlifting-Certified Sports Performance Coach. Today he shares his determination and all his fitness knowledge with at his training camp, CrossFit Reach.
During workouts, Robby and two other resident coaches push students through an array of exercises that change every session to boost the body's ability to perform in the 10 domains of fitness, which include power, speed, flexibility, and agility. To do so, students might perform exercises requiring them to run, jump, weightlift, and eventually perform all of those elements at once, immediately qualifying them for a life in the circus.
Owner of CrossFit Union Scott McAuliffe and head trainer Brendan know that variety is the key to a successful fitness regimen. That's why they offer all sorts of workout options, from punishing boot camps to yin yoga classes. Their specialty, however, will always be CrossFit's workout of the day. Alongside a team of similarly certified trainers, Brendan leads students through a set of functional, intense exercises. These exercises vary constantly but may include everything from squats and pull-ups to box jumps and four-door sedan throws. Given the workouts' adaptable nature?exercisers progress with more intensity, not more weight?they can be tailored to any fitness level.

Sky High Studios strips away any stigma related to pole fitness with a crew of instructors who inspire their classes to grow strong and confident on the apparatus and in their lives. At Sky High Studios, you can try your hand at one of several calorie-burning activities. Upper-body strength gets put to the test in aerial silks classes, where basic footholds and locks precede more complicated inversions, which double as a good way to change a light bulb with your toes. Pole dancing classes emphasize upper body strength, but with equal attention to spins that incorporate the lower body.
The Gym Class’s trainers lead boot camps that are both fun and effective. Sessions are designed to promote fitness and camaraderie, encouraging athletes to work together to achieve each other’s goals. The boot camp blends traditional, callisthenic, and bodyweight exercises with interval training and strength training to help promote fat loss, often using equipment such as stability balls, battle ropes, and suspension training systems. The location of the camps can also vary, with groups meeting at recreation areas, gymnastics gyms, and elementary schools.
