Starting in the mangrove swamps of South Florida as Tarzan’s Cup, The Jungle Cup tests runners’ warrior instincts and brute strength with a bevy of jungle-inspired challenges. Lone wolves, coed pairs, or teams of four take on the 5K course’s rivers of mud and swinging vines with the hope of winning the coveted Jungle Cup—or at least a finisher’s medal. Obstacles vary based on the run’s location, but contestants can rest assured that their endurance will be put to the test through primal trials such as leaping over fire pits, hurling javelins, and swimming through water hazards. After the race, athletes cool down with a frosty beverage at the Jungle Party, which celebrates their victories with fire shows, hula hoop-offs, and costume contests.
When he isn’t exploring underwater or volunteering at the Georgia Aquarium, Jacob Moore, founder and owner of Living Water Conservation and Scuba Inc. and The Order of Atlantis, shares his scuba knowledge with students during classes. A NAUI-certified scuba instructor, Jacob leads courses that range from skin-diver and scuba certification to advanced scuba-diving and instructor courses. He also leads expeditions during which students and instructors alike can use their skills to explore reefs, caves, and wildlife at destinations such as Ginnie Springs, Panama City, and Ponce de Leon, Florida.
The Color and Glow Run could just as easily be called the Color and Glow Walk, or the Color and Glow Dance. It’s not important how fast racers finish the 5K course, what’s important is what those runners wear. As long as they sport a white T-shirt, they can enjoy a colorful or glow-in-the-dark makeover at the hands of the race’s volunteer crew.

He even offers instructions and supplies to make cheese, so that his customers can pair their homemade beverages with the perfect snack.
