Michael Kendrick has been dancing since before he could get away with wearing a mustache to sneak into PG-13 movies. Just 9 years old when he fell in love with dance, Kendrick was already teaching the art form at age 14. His passion remained with him as he served as an infantry paratrooper in the US Army, where he was cast as Sonny LaTierre in a national production of Grease. After working for Fred Astaire Dance Studios for more than a decade, Kendrick decided to draw on his experience dancing and his certification in aerobics instruction to helm One Rhythm Dance. As the owner, he curates workshops and classes focused on sharing ballroom dancing with anyone inspired to learn.

At The Art of Dance, Catallo has drawn on this experience to create a Marriage Enrichment Through Dance course tailored specifically to couples. As they learn fundamental ballroom steps in these sessions, spouses strengthen their relationships and have fun instead of spending another Friday searching for doubloons in the junk drawer.
A duo of dentists leads the Spanish- and English-speaking staff at Family Dental of McKinney as they fill in gap-toothed grins with dental implants and abutments. During the two-hour treatment, techs implant a small screw made of titanium, known for its compatibility with human bodies and FM radio waves, into the jaw in place of a missing tooth’s root. Local anesthetic keeps gums comfortable during the process, and clients can resume regular activities, including eating, immediately after treatment. Once the screw fuses to the bone, it can anchor replacement teeth to gums securely, creating a bond stronger than the one between John and Yoko’s matching dentures.
