Kirkland Performance Center (KPC), which was planned and constructed for more than a decade, now consists of an intimate, 402-seat space that showcases musical, theatrical, and dance performances. In addition to its professional performances, KPC reaches out to the community with youth programming. It presents nine student matinees each year from companies from around the country, with educational topics and entertaining themes such as Dr. Seuss's The Lorax and the scientific presentations of Doktor Kaboom!. Led by education outreach director Wes Andrews, the shows introduce youth from underserved neighborhoods to performance art and include a follow-up question and answer session to further engage the students.

At Stretch and Staple, professional photographer Taylor McAtee helps to turn wedding portraits, family pictures, and vacation snapshots into artful decor that stands the test of time. He transforms home photographs into display-ready works of art by carefully printing digital files onto museum-quality canvases. Taylor also directs customers to his snapshot gallery, where they can browse snapshots he carefully constructed with multiple exposures. All images are stretched across eco-friendly canvases using environmentally safe ink, compostable cartridges, and staples made from recycled retainers.
