Imagine the moment when a shy, introverted young girl steps in front of a room full of people for the first time and speaks with confidence and clarity. This is a regular occurrence at Drama Kids International, where experienced teachers use a unique, copyrighted curriculum to help shape and focus outgoing children or draw shy children out of their shells. Classes for kids as young as 3 refine speech techniques, dramatic movement, and imagination, giving them the confidence to perform in front of an audience or finally ask their parents to change their names to Thespis. For older kids, aged 12–18, Drama Kids International offers the DKI Acting Academy, where serious theater kids can expand their speaking, acting, and auditioning skills through exercises and performances.
ASI Gymnastics helps children of all ages develop a lifelong passion for athletic activity through the practice of gymnastics. In addition to improving strength, endurance, balance, and coordination for children 12 months to 18 years old, the instructors use gymnastics training to bolster confidence and encourage mental growth alongside physical development. Age-appropriate programs begin by introducing fundamental techniques before moving on to more demanding skills, such as handstands, standing back handsprings, and cartwheeling through laser security systems. ASI Gymnastics also caters to varying levels of interest by providing competitive team training as well as casual birthday parties complete with trampolines and games.
At Dallas Dodgeball Center, sphere-slingers of all ages and experience levels team up to conquer opponents during exhilarating coed games. Lasting about 10 minutes apiece, each game begins as players evenly divide between two teams. Once captains have selected sides, a coach steps in and signals the start of the game with a standard "on your mark, get set, go!" call or by making a similar declaration in whistled Morse code. As multicolored balls sail from side to side in a prismatic frenzy, players are expected to abide by an honor system in order to maintain the cordially competitive environment.

As the name suggests, Premier Gun Show produces some of the most popular gun shows across the state of Texas. At the shows, which include The Original Fort Worth Gun Show, DFW Premier Gun Shows at Big Town, and others in Houston, Waco, and San Antonio, dealers showcase firearms, including collectables, used firearms, and new guns right from their manufacturers. But the ample space of the convention halls also fill with other collectables. Depending on the show, visitors might find Western-style clothing, militaria, camouflage, knives, and firearms accessories.
