Miami Beach GYROTONIC® combines the flowing exercises of GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methodologies, which are both designed to strengthen and stretch the body through three-dimensional movements and breathing patterns. The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® uses combination pulley tower units and other specialized equipment, while the GYROKINESIS® exercise method emphasizes spinal movement through the use of a mat, a stool, and various rhythmic, undulating movements.
Miami Beach Plastic Surgery Center and MedSpa’s staff of plastic surgeons, overseen by Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Tachmes, perform a wide range of aesthetic rejuvenation treatments. Each has their own corporeal region of expertise and restores the epidermal firmness of youth from head to toe with surgical forehead lifts, tummy tucks, and arm lifts.
The doctors can also put down their scalpels to perform a range of laser-based services, which can yield similar results without invasiveness. Preprocedure or postprocedure, patients can relax in an on-site recovery suite before exiting through the separate VIP entrance or through astral projection.
Owned by Dr. Paul Wigoda, a board-certified plastic surgeon, Me Day Spa offers an extensive menu of med-spa services to keep you looking and feeling your best. Skin treatments include a Go and Glow facial ($60), Paprika Treatment ($110), and Muscle Toning ($85) for faces too lazy to get to the gym. Visit one of the professional aestheticians for a Miami Beach Swedish massage ($55 for 30 min; $85 for one hour), during which a string-bikini-clad Viking conquers tension with muscle-soothing meatballs, or put the Groupon toward a lymphatic drainage massage ($125) to knead out body toxins and tension.
Under the supervision of Dr. Lior Elkayam, Medical Solutions' trained technicians noninvasively eliminate unwanted hair, acne, tattoos, wrinkles, and localized body fat. Candela lasers gently target unsightly or pigmented areas, leaving patients with minimal scarring, and microdermabrasions and chemical peels soften fine lines and reduce blemishes to keep faces brighter than a light bulb raised by encyclopedias.
One non-surgical Dysport treatment can reduce the appearance of skin creases that have forged over a lifetime of facial movements, such as squinting or frowning. By temporarily stunning your wrinkle-producing muscles, this noninvasive treatment smoothens skin and gives you a more-refreshed appearance. Increasingly creased skin is no match for Dr. Tachmes, a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who has been in practice in Miami since 1994. Following a water- skiing accident, they came back. The migraines that had plagued Doctor of Chiropractic Todd Narson since he was 11 had returned with a vengeance. Back then, he and his parents had tried everything to alleviate them, consulting with countless specialists but it wasn’t until he visited his father’s chiropractor that Dr. Todd found relief. So when the headaches came back, he went right to the chiropractor’s office. These experiences eventually inspired him to go to chiropractic school himself, and open Miami Beach Family & Sports Chiropractic Center with his wife in 1993.
Dr. Todd earned a specialty in sports medicine that enables him to not only treat everyday pain and headaches, but also to relieve sports-related injuries, such as golfer’s elbow, rotator cuff issues, and plantar fasciitis caused by stomping too hard on the bleachers when the home team wins. His treatment often help patients avoid surgery, and other times, his close relationships with medical doctors enable him to help patients during post-surgery recovery.
He and his wife, Dr. Corey, lead their center’s team in delivering a range of wellness services, not just chiropractic care. Nutritional advice helps patients achieve their best health through making better diet choices, and massage therapy can treat musculoskeletal pain, improve circulation, and reduce spasms that can cause people to spontaneously pop and lock while walking to work.
