Dustin Williams is a bit old fashioned, at least when it comes to fitness. As the owner and head personal trainer at Precision Fitness, he doesn't buy into fancy equipment, miracle weight-loss drugs, or fad diets. Instead, he focuses on the time-tested methods of hard work, motivation, and accountability. Dustin leads 30-minute group personal-training classes, which banish fat while toning physiques, and abs, butt, and shoulder classes, which build strength and reduce pain. In addition, he's a National Strength and Conditioning Association?certified strength and conditioning specialist and uses that expertise to train those preparing for bodybuilding and figure competitions.
Free from the competitive environment of a testosterone-stuffed gym or mixed-martial hopscotch tournament, women's boot camp encourages the estrogen-enhanced of all ages, skill levels, and abilities to motivate each other in a comfortable group setting. Each class takes you through a variable variety of body-blasting, calorie-pulverizing exercises that might include core conditioning, short-distance running, jumping rope, obstacle courses, and a few last-minute surprise twists, such as discovering that boot camp was all a dream. You'll also get an orientation, initial fitness screening, nutrition and meal plan, and fitness reports.
With an all-access pass to a full class schedule and all exercise components in the Just for Ladies facility, gentlewomen will glisten and gleam as they sculpt their upper and lower bodies using the Shapemaster toning system. These silently motorized toning tables use repetitive isokinetic motion to flatten abdominals, improve posture, and increase one's range of motion—working both sides of the body equally rather than just the one used to dangle perilously from cliffs. Otherwise, sweat it out on a variety of cardio machines, including stair climbers, stationary bikes, treadmills, yackety saxes, and ellipticals—all equipped with TVs to keep boredom at bay. To keep sweat donations social, Just for Ladies' expert instructors blast groups of bodies with classes in aerobics, Pilates, yoga, and Zumba (classes vary by location).

Safety comes first at New Heights Rock Climbing Gym. Before strapping in at the gym’s top-rope climbing course, all guests have to complete a training lesson that teaches them the skills needed to safely surmount the gym’s walls. Students learn how to tie weight-bearing knots, help friends safely ascend and descend the walls using belaying techniques, and recognize the difference between rocks and Styrofoam coolers that just look like rocks. Once instructors deem them ready, students can then latch onto the colorful rocks sprinkled throughout the climbing space, using their upper-arm strength and path-finding skills to surmount the vertical obstacle course. The angled bouldering course rises over padded mats, allowing guests to safely climb the inclines while working against gravity pulling down their own body weight. The gym opens its doors to parties of all sizes, with one designated instructor for every eight partygoers to ensure climbers stay safe and agile.
