Daily Melt's cooks elevate the humble grilled cheese sandwich to a high art. They start off mornings with hearty maple-bacon melts, which hold bacon and egg together with melted cheddar, maple syrup, and two slices of sourdough bread. They pack entire meals between slices of bread with lunch sandwiches such as the Italiano: a combination of pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, and tomato sauce on homemade garlic bread.
