Owner Taylor Hardy and his crew of photographers at Miami Impulse Photography bring a tasteful and artistic touch to their work. Whether it's a wedding, concert, or party, they're committed to capturing shots that simultaneously come alive and preserve the moment. The team has covered fashion shoots, weddings, and sporting events, and they're partnered with several local makeup artists that are available to help you with modeling shots, head shots, or your first booster shot. Makeup artists are available for an additional fee. Miami Impulse Photography proudly participates during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, too.
For close to two decades, photographer Carlos Osorio has been preserving family memories at Miami Photo. He has documented more than 400 weddings, and his laid-back, journalistic style has been published in numerous media. Assisted by his wife Sandra, Osorio earned one of WeddingWire.com's Bride's Choice awards in 2009, 2010, and 2011. He turns brides' special days into prints at his own professional lab and converts images into products such as coffee-table albums, canvas prints, or high-resolution vinyl siding. Osorio also captures family portraits, parties, and quinceaňeras, and restores precious photos damaged by the passage of time.
At a professional studio flooded with natural light, professional photographers Marilyn Scavo and Carlos Osorio teach budding shutterbugs how to advance their picture-snapping skills during private lessons and beginner workshops. From composing compelling daytime shots to clearly capturing your boss screaming into a pillow, Photo Workshops Studios' instructors use their backgrounds in wedding, boudoir, and family photography to assist students in achieving portfolio-ready images.
Cesar Varela never thought of photography as a serious pursuit until his wife became a magazine model. As he observed what photographers looked for in their models, he decided to try it for himself. He gathered his own lenses, cameras, and gear and used his wife as a test subject. At-home successes led him to shoot other models before eventually expanding his client base to include families, newlyweds, houses, and family members wearing house costumes. Though he’s since had work published by magazines, publishing companies, and websites, he feels most at ease shooting individual subjects in a photojournalistic style. In his high-rise studio, he photographs subjects in front of colored backdrops or on a balcony overlooking Miami’s sun-dappled skyline. When on location, he works to incorporate the environment—including water and sand, animals, and building architecture—as each shot's secondary subject, adding dimension without strapping 3-D glasses onto his camera. Believing that subjects’ comfort level shows through any pose, Cesar keeps them at ease by offering bits of easygoing direction and capturing candid shots.
Chavez Photo Miami is a photography studio focused on taking contemporary, modern photos, but always with a touch of elegance. I'm Erika Chavez and I started Chavez Photo because I wanted to have a different approach to taking photos - one that starts with awesome customer service and amazing creativity.
Though Marilyn Scavo is more than secure behind the camera, it?s her job to make clients comfortable in front of it. That?s why she goes to great pains to foster a convivial, positive environment during boudoir photo shoots where women can relax and have fun while flaunting their sensuality. Luckily, the shutterbug has the chops to pull it off with her 23 combined years of photography and teaching experience. Since she?s versed in Photoshop, Marilyn expertly retouches photos, and can package images on a CD or in an album, which will give a client?s bunkmate a much more stimulating picture book to read before bed than Curious George Renews His License at the DMV.
