Jak's Warehouse's bright green, off-kilter sign hints at the fun to be had behind its weathered-brick entryway. Within the industrial-themed indoor playground, children dodge beams of light in a laser maze, collide in a bumper-cars arena, and navigate tunnels and launch volleys of foam balls in a Ballocity climbing structure. Under the glow of black lights, they compete in games of laser tag and play through a nine-hole, city street-themed mini-golf course. The four-story Sky Trail climbing structure’s elevated platforms and swinging ropes let small visitors nearly touch the ceiling of the expansive space, while on the ground, nearly 100 modern arcade games fill the Warehouse floor with lights and Morse-code messages from Pac Man to his wife. Though Jak’s Warehouse doesn't permit outside food or drink, casual café fare is available at the on-site Forklift Restaurant, including sandwiches, hot dogs, and pizzas.

With more than 125 million records sold, more than 2,700 concerts performed, and a million faces seen and rocked, Bon Jovi has carved out a New Jersey–size place in the rock pantheon. The band's current trek into stadiums and arenas across the United States and Europe solidifies its status as the world's most pleasing natural phenomenon after pizza volcanoes. Bona fide Bon Jovi fans can hope to hear songs from the band's most recent album, Greatest Hits, including classic smash hits such as "Livin' on a Prayer," "You Give Love a Bad Name," and "It's My Life." Remind Memphis that it was built upon subterranean deposits of liquid rock 'n' roll with a night of rollicking, riffing, and sentimental sing-alongs.

Executive chef Jack Rickey brightens up his dishes at Billy Jack’s Bar and Grill by packing every recipe with crimson tomatoes, yellow sweet corn, and other colorful southwestern ingredients. The fiery flavors of chipotle peppers and chiles stimulate tongues when blended into the poblano-cream sauce poured over sizzling steak and shrimp or the aioli drizzled over sweet and spicy pork medallions. Bold ingredients find their way into seafood dishes as well, from the peaches that sweeten the BBQ roasted salmon to the jalapeno sauce that coats the restaurant's crab-stuffed tilapia and crab-stuffed piñatas.
Martinis Culinary Cocktail Lounge is aptly named—the bar's martini list boasts a roster of cocktails more than 120 drinks long. However, bartenders also pour top-shelf spirits and craft beers to complement their Mediterranean plates, which range from chicken parmesan and tortellini to build-your-own pizzas. The kitchen staff also whips up seafood dishes, such as shrimp stuffed with blue crab and linguine with clams, which evoke Italy’s seaside regions more appetizingly than free glasses of salt water. As patrons drink and dine, the lounge’s weekly shows entertain with comedy sets and live music.
