Recognizing the quirks of peoples' exercise routines—some feel intimidated by other exercisers, others prefer the support of a group—Kenneth Reed and his staff at Fit For Life Personal Training stage their workouts in private and small group settings. For even more community, exercisers can sign up for one of Fit for Life's boot camps or upbeat Zumba dance-fitness classes. To supplement workouts with healthful foods, the facility also supplies nutritional counseling.

Since its inception, Parisi Speed School has trained more than 150 NFL players and 5,000 scholarship-holding college athletes in its youth programs. Parisi consistently churns out all-stars with its Signature Speed Program, which trains youngsters at the time when their motor skills are most malleable. The LifeBridge Health & Fitness location helps to hone agility, endurance, and coordination in future athletes aged 7–20. Using the center’s signature speed and strength training methods, supportive staffers not only infuse muscle memory with a suite of opponent-lambasting skills, they also teach them how to avoid injuries without hiring a stunt double to take tackles.

Designed by founder and renaissance woman Lynne Brick and her accomplished husband, Victor, Brick Bodies and Lynne Brick's health clubs share a fitness cornucopia of group classes, personal-training sessions, and women’s health tips. They stock their workout facilities with premium cardio and strength-training equipment, as well as offer amenities that may include pools, childcare services, and volcano-free saunas. Each of the seven locations sports its own personality, including the Owings Mills and Belvedere facilities, which operate as all-female communities.
The Brick's also employ a team of certified instructors, who lead more than 30 types of group fitness classes, allowing students of all skill levels access to sessions that range from low-impact workouts, such as BodyVive, to more intense courses, such as the kickboxing-inspired BodyCombat classes.
