Michael Garver and his team of instructors lead students through high-energy Zumba classes. As globally influenced music thumps through the studio, the instructors demonstrate easy-to-follow dance moves that yield stronger, more flexible muscles. Meanwhile, wood-laminate floors cushion the impact caused by enthusiastic dance moves, keeping joints healthy and able to hinge without regular application of oil.

Tazinos Pizza & Salad Bistro provides patrons with a buffet-style smorgasbord of specialty pizzas, pastas, and salads. Already cooking at three locations, a fourth eatery in downtown Milwaukee is slated to open its doors this summer. Each casual restaurant revolves around an all-you-can-eat menu of fresh, nutritious Italian fare, including pizzas crafted from natural Wisconsin cheeses and dough that is kneaded onsite every morning using unbleached flour and absolutely no high-fructose corn syrup, trans fats, MSG, or magic beans. Pies range from classic pepperoni and authentic Italian margherita to the specialty Tailgater, topped with Klement's bratwurst, green peppers, brown mustard, and barbecue sauce. Salads, such as a sweet Asian-style slaw, and pastas, ranging from mac 'n' cheese to garlic-and-herb fettuccini, keep forks gainfully employed, and each meal is rounded out by a selection of soups, desserts, and spicy pepperoni rolls. On Saturday and Sunday, Sunriza pizzas fend off the morning munchies with renditions of breakfast favorites in pie form. Topping choices include eggs and bacon, eggs ranchero, and morning-fresh veggies, and each slice may be enjoyed alongside other breakfast staples such as french toast, cereal, and mini cinnamon rolls.

Starting as freshmen, Sponsor-A-Scholar students get connected with personal mentors, financial sponsors, and a supportive peer group to provide encouragement and guidance to help them finish high school and attend college. More than 98% of students in the Sponsor-A-Scholar program graduate from high school, with 95% of graduates going on to enroll in postsecondary education. Students who complete the program and enroll in college receive $5,000 of additional financial support, distributed throughout the course of their college careers. The Sponsor-A-Scholar program launches with a foundational three-week summer-enrichment experience, when students begin bonding with their peers and the staff who will be a part of their support network throughout high school.

Followers of ayurvedic and yogic philosophies believe that the human body is governed by pranas, or energy centers. The term samana, which founder Beth Hope used to name her practice, is the specific prana that equalizes and balances physical systems. Beth draws from her personal history to fashion services that help restore physical and spiritual equilibrium. Beth's journey to becoming a yoga instructor began at age 17, when she first studied Indian culture and philosophy. She studied Ashtanga yoga with its founder, Sri Krishna Pattabhi Jois, and developed her own style that incorporates breathing exercises, mantras, and sacred songs to facilitate transformation for clients and stressed caterpillars. Beth creates a space where people can feel comfortable receiving alternative therapies and medicines. Along with a team of trained massage therapists she runs yoga, kirtan, reiki, and Thai massage sessions to empower people to lead more healthy and balanced lives.

A shared passion in fitness brought The Barre Code's co-founders Jillian Lorenz and Ariana Chernin together in 2009 to form a unique boutique studio crafted around women's fitness. After years of independently choreographing workouts, the duo joined forces to form The Barre Code ?formerly Barre Bee Fit? a fitness program dedicated to crafting workout regimens around the Barre Code mantra. Since 2010, the pair have been teaching classes that uphold the Barre Code's mantra and promote cardiovascular conditioning, strength-training, and restoration. In a short time, The Barre Code has expanded from a small studio space to a national franchise which includes multiple locations throughout the U.S. Workouts center around the ballet barre and feature stamina-building exercises that help rapidly build stronger arms, abs, thighs, and glutes. New routines are available each week and classes that include kickboxing, high-intensity interval training, yoga, and dance continually evolve to keep up with fitness innovations. Participants can also count on instructors to regularly introduce new props and moves to keep them interested and seeing results.
