For 20 years, Sam Hill has worked in the jewelry industry as a goldsmith, a jewelry designer, and a Graduate Gemologist. Since 2000, he's also owned Rohr Jewelers, a Milwaukee fixture since 1933. Hill imports jewelry crafted from high quality pearls, diamonds, and gemstones from all over the world for customers to peruse.
Chef Felix Hafner conceived Mi-key's menu to showcase a blend of local and seasonal foods with a dazzling variety of shareable plates. The summer menu bursts at the seams with appetizers such as portobello stuffed with toasted pine nuts, spinach, and goat cheese ($5.95) and salads such as the strawberry spinach (6.95), which tosses pickled strawberries, baby spinach, pine nuts, and blue cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette. Move on to main-course portions such as the campfire trout ($17.95), which comes with an arugula granola salad, candied beets, and a complimentary ghost story from your friendly server. Complement your dinner with a selection from Mi-key's bar menu, which features six draft beers, an extensive wine list, and new takes on conventional cocktail concoctions. Past specialty cocktails have included the warm haute fashioned, with Korbel brandy, cherry, orange, orange bitters, and raw sugar, and the guava mojito, with rum, fresh guava, cane sugar, mint, lime, and a twist of panache.
Classy Girl Cupcakes exclusively bakes cupped cakes, and boasts an extensive selection of flavors of both traditional cupcakes and cheesecake cupcakes. Traditional cupcake flavors include an almond pound cake topped with vanilla buttercream frosting, a dense dark-chocolate confection created with decadent Ghirardelli chocolate, and a deep-red velvet cake. More than 30 creative flavors of two-bite-sized cheesecupcakes are offered, including the caramel apple cheesecake, made with organic baked apples and an optional sprinkling of nuts, or the candy-rich Snickers cheesecake for a decadent cupped dessert. All of Classy Girl's creations are baked from scratch in small batches, with all natural ingredients, such as unbleached flour and hand-shucked corn.

Inside Tip: Make a note, night owls: Elsa's kitchen stays open until 1 a.m. every day. The eatery's bartenders, meanwhile, keep pouring shots and lifting wine jugs over their heads to demonstrate their brute strength until at least 2 a.m.
When to Go: Head over on a Monday night, when Elsa's expands its normal menu to include 10 gourmet-chicken sandwiches, including versions that highlight Chinese, Mexican, and Italian flavors.
