Certified personal trainer Katelyn Brown first immersed herself into the fitness industry in 2008. Since then, she's trained clients privately, has led groups through sweaty boot camps, and has even worked with hockey players off the ice, coaching them how to walk in public without checking pedestrians into walls. At Perseverance Fitness, she puts this experience to use helming signature BootyCamp sessions—all-women fitness classes that use body-weight movements to tone troublesome areas such as the arms, core, and backside. Katelyn, who is also a certified TRX suspension-training ambassador, also captains TRX boot camps, which allow participants to perform hundreds of exercises by leveraging gravity against body weight with a series of specialized straps and bands.

A serious accident took TNT Fitness?s founder Tag Dundas?s physical and mental health, right down to his ability to walk. During his journey to recovery, he transformed his life. It took hours of work and training, but Tag regained all his functionality, and the experience had him sticking with the gym until well after his time in physical therapy had come to an end. His new fitness far surpassed what it had been before the accident, and he decided to become a personal trainer to help others achieve those goals they always thought were impossible.

Today, Tag and his team of trainers help clients strengthen and condition their bodies in group fitness classes and personal training. Michelle and Sherri, who conducts cardio and core exercises, and Colleen, who conducts beginner classes, help equip athletes to excel with tailored training that focuses on building the kinds of speed, strength, and agility needed for each sport. Tag himself has logged nearly 1,000 hours using TRX resistance bands in personal-training sessions and boot camps. He affectionately calls the camps T-ReX boot camps, after the dinosaur renowned for its strength, ferocity, and ability to perform a perfect unassisted sit-up.
