When pairs of insured technicians arrive from Betsy's Cleaning Service, Inc., the first thing they do is listen. After determining which areas need the most attention, they either unleash their own vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleansers or happily use customer-selected products. In addition to one-time, weekly, and biweekly cleaning services, they help clients spruce up homes for move-ins and move-outs and after minor in-home construction jobs, removing post-project dust, dirt, and spare turkeys found in every new kitchen set.
The artisans at Express Frames preserve photos, artwork, and mementos with more than 2,000 custom and archival frames by brands such as Larson-Juhl and Roma Moulding. They cut mats with a precise, computerized process, and offer more than 10 types of glass—including nonreflective glass, museum-quality glass, and Plexiglas. The art in the shop dances off framed mirrors by Uttermost, and staffers display signed Steiner Sports prints of athletes hitting homeruns or successfully untangling a whole bunch of Christmas lights.

As Marcy Schafler knows, there's no age too young or old to start practicing Pilates—she herself was 45 when she embarked upon her career as a Pilates instructor. As the owner of Mind Over Movement, she hopes to both inspire and encourage all her students with her own story, and help them cultivate their own. Moving through the Pilates workouts, students can expect to see improvements in their posture, core strength, and flexibility about where to eat for dinner.
