From an adults' area equipped with free WiFi, parents and guardians watch their socks-clad youngsters amble about Jumpin' Beans' inflatable playground, where they can scale, slide, and bounce on the facility's air-filled structures. Seattle's Best coffee and espresso drinks keep grownups alert as kids reenergize with pizza or drinks from an onsite concessions stand or munch on their own snacks. In addition to open-play sessions, parties gather groups in Jumpin' Beans' play space, where the facility's party hosts oversee each soiree's arrangement of inflatables sidled up beside big-screen TVs, DVD entertainment, and cakes that turn back into cupcakes at midnight. When not busy with playing and partying, Jumpin' Beans' Jump Start programs, helmed by a veteran elementary-school teacher, teach pupils motor skills and offer social enrichment via lessons, games, and physical activities.
Opened as a roller-skating center in 1977, Wheels Fun Park broadened its ambitions in 1992 when it bloomed into a full-fledged family fun center. After its metamorphosis, the park incorporated attractions that include an 18-hole mini-golf course, five batting cages, and a quarter-mile go-kart track. Nothing overshadows its roots though, and today's 25,000-square-foot roller rink commands a 14-speaker sound system and a dazzling light show that twinkles in skaters' sparkling eyes along with the glow of two disco balls.
A 6,500-square-foot play gym allows tots to act out the story of the Minotaur of Crete in a labyrinthine system of climbing tubes. An onsite skate park treats boarders to a slew of supervised rails and spines as well as a mini halfpipe. During holidays and when school is not in session, day camps keep kids well fed and well educated in subjects such as the geometry of mini golf.
A multifaceted family entertainment center, Go Bananaz delights kids with inflatable play places, bumper cars, and arcade games. A pirate ship lifts children up to 18 feet in the air, the arcade area boasts classic games such as air hockey, and a separate toddler area allows tots to play safely. With all-encompassing party packages, kids can play video games, enjoy pizza, and sip juice.
Kidz-N-Play's indoor-play facility enthralls youngsters with its plethora of educational and recreational toys, structures, and activities. The masterminds behind the playground flank their moon bounce with two slides and a spacious jumping area, and crowd a large table with a wooden-train set. Their lego table gives kids a chance to practice building skills or explore a policy of aggressive economic expansion. A dance area equipped with Just Dance Kids for Xbox Kinect eliminates calories during lengthy boogying sessions, and a toddler play area sets tots on a foam-cushioned floor awash in age-appropriate toys. When designing the indoor playground, the owners didn't forget about parent and guardian visitors and equipped a seating area overlooking the playrooms with free WiFi and televisions.
Within Tag Ur It’s family-owned indoor play center, youngsters glide down slides, rock atop spring horses, and leap about in bounce houses. After emerging from the inflatable obstacle course, kids scamper off to the arcade to battle fictional opponents or challenge their less-pixilated playmates to rounds on the mini-golf course, bouts in the laser-tag arena, and bean-bag flinging at the corn-hole station. Along with open-play sessions, Tag Ur It accommodates guests with a trio of birthday-party packages where up 20 children can enjoy a two-hour party block.
Each of the Monkey Joe's bounce houses and fun parks located in 17 states draws its inspiration from its eponymous mascot. Legend has it that the furry purple monkey discovered bouncing by accidentally falling out of a coconut tree, and he decided then and there to spread the fun with inflatable bounce houses and obstacles, slides, and jungle gyms.
Kids aged 12 and younger can split their time among the inflatable play center, and toddlers aged 3 and younger seek binky-laden treasure chests in special play areas. With an eye toward sanitation, the staffers oversee regular wipe-downs with Swisher Hygiene formulas. They also host parties, where video monitoring and identity bracelets keep track of guests to ensure safety.
