Intent on helping kids let loose while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness, Jumpin' Joey's crew of Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization (SIOTO)–certified lifeguards keep their eagle eyes and whistles trained upon playing youngsters at all times. A toddler unit affords tykes aged 2 and under a controlled place to play, and the inflatable pirate ship grants big kids a chance to hone their swashbucking skills, as long as neither of their hands are hooks. The onsite arcade, replete with shuffleboard and air hockey, bustles with cheering game winners, and the concession stand sates post-play appetites.

Slices of super-white tuna and octopus join a list of 60 different varieties of sushi rolls, such as the Tuna Fever and the Imperial Guard roll, whose army of shrimp tempura, avocado, and eel maintains a stony expression at all times. A waterfall of shells dangles above the mantel, upon which a parrot perches. The bar is crafted from carved wood and framed with transoms of stained glass. Walking through the door at Cafe Cusco, it's difficult for guests not to be enchanted by the interior, especially if they're lucky enough to score one of the sumptuous booths, whose wood and stained glass echo the bar, and whose tapestry-wrapped cushions cosset them better than their mother's lap. This decor sets the scene for comforting plates of Peruvian food such as lomo saltado, with its zesty tamari sauce and tomatoes, and arroz con mariscos, a tumble of seafood and rice cooked with white wine and red pepper.
