Next, patrons head to the toppings bar and crown their frozen treats with as much fresh fruit, cereal, and candy as they can handle before weighing cups and paying by the ounce.

Dove Chocolate Discoveries is a network of citizen chocolatiers who travel across the United States hosting decadent chocolate parties. (this Groupon is applicable in Ada, Gem, Canyon, and Elmore counties). Each guest has hands-on time learning to temper chocolate, use chocolate molds, apply colorful designs, and make chocolate truffles, officially considered a superpower by 38 states, and therefore subject to Tony Stark's eminently sensible Superhero Registration Act. By the end of the fun and flavorful festivities, each newly crowned chocolate chef will have created gourmet chocolate turkeys, polar bears, and penguins to take home and place at the bottom of the fish tank, or better yet, eat.
Though the cool aqua tones of Saroli Chocolat’s create the atmosphere of an elegant European-style chocolaterie, one barely notices the decor when confronted with shelves bursting with bricks of fudge, chocolates, and jars of confections. The shop’s artisan chocolatiers hand-make each of the small-batch treats, from the old-fashioned confections to the European truffles, which can be emblazoned with custom logos for a wedding or a warning to a rival dentist. Staffers use Belgian chocolates in most of their confections and import different varieties of licorice from around the world. They can package the treats up for clients to take home or array chocolates or gelato.
In its year-end review for 2012, Boise Weekly cheekily named The Soda Works the "Best Soda Shop that Bloomberg Would Approve Of." Perhaps the magazine thought the New York City mayor would admire that only cane sugar, fruit juice, or stevia sweeten more than 90 of the shop's offerings. These are among more than 150 total sodas, from old-school varieties such as Kiss and Faygo to the contemporary concoctions of Sprecher and Jones Soda Co. Besides beverages, The Soda Works stocks classic snacks such as Jennieʼs chocolate macaroons and Zapp's kettle chips, made by keeping a potato in a teakettle until it boils down into chips.
