Lauren Weghorst Photography diligently documents existing families and the unions of new ones, preserving the images for years to come. Over the course of a one-hour photo shoot, groups tied together by blood or a shared love of toothy grins are pictographically preserved in color, black and white, or sepia. At least 100 photographs will be burned onto a commemorative DVD, including 15 edited images. Participants are allowed to change clothes up to three times to show off their business casual, formalwear, and marching-band uniforms.
With a love for candid shots and days spent traveling to homes, weddings, and parks, life passes through photographer Stephen Jeffery Crabtree’s eyes as a series of still moments from which beauty can be taken, whether accidental or composed. Depending upon the size and nature of the shoot, he arrives by himself or with up to three other photographers to help him capture every angle of special moments. His fully equipped studio prints high-quality images on demand, and all wedding packages come with full rights for brides and grooms, who can print out favorite shots of themselves at their leisure and turn them into masks so that their special day lasts forever.
Each PHP Photography shoot begins with a one-hour consultation that allows the photographer to get a feel for the client’s unique personality. The results have yielded a portfolio brimming with of shots of families, children, and weddings, each full with character and impromptu smiles, earning PHP a Preferred Vendor nod from the Perfect Wedding Guide in 2011 and 2012. Consultations also serve to put clients at ease when capturing especially intimate moments, such as boudoir photography sessions or maternity sessions, which capture the nervous excitement or insatiable appetite for white truffles associated with awaiting a child. Design elements can add a vintage vibe with black-and-white or sepia filters, or images can travel through time in the opposite direction with modern, Warhol-esque effects.
Armed with an army of innovative and certified shutterbugs, Olan Mills Portrait Studio provides families with high-quality portraits, continuing a mission that was established more than 75 years ago by founder Olan Mills Sr. Skilled in the art of capturing infants, children, families, and bunny-ears-giving ghost orbs on film, Olan Mills’s experienced smile snappers will take a series of poses amid a variety of backgrounds and lighting options. The studio is equipped with a selection of props—including numbers for birthdays, toys, and boxes—and patrons may bring their own photo-enlivening items from home. The resulting photos find their way to prints in natural color, black and white, or sepia tones; they can also be immortalized in the studio's signature Old Masters style, a canvas brushed with highlights to recreate look of an oil painting. Like the gentlemanly mariners of ages past with their full schedule of sea-battles, the photographers welcome appointments, but do not require them.
Mary Cherolis’s passion for visually capturing memories has carried her through a successful decade of snapping images since graduating with her photography degree. At the helm of Red Bricks Photography, she relies on her knack for capturing clients’ natural moments and dynamics as she documents portrait shoots and special events, from the wobbly steps of toddlers to the wobbly steps of high school graduates. Mary’s husband Dave can also be found behind the lens at Red Bricks, bringing his videography talent to events such as weddings. Together, the husband-and-wife team gives clients the benefit of still and moving images on their important days with the ease of hiring a single company for their photography needs. After any kind of shoot, the pair offers prints of shoot images, along with other options such as online galleries, gallery-wrapped canvases, and cards.
Between their regular photo sessions, Red Bricks Photography gives back by snapping images of departing and returning military members through Operation: Love ReUnited.
With more than 50 years of combined experience snapping and framing shots, the artists at Schwabe Studio Photography usher fleeting moments into the future during in-studio and on-location sessions. They specialize in photographing families, newlyweds, and soon-to-be-graduates, who can choose from seven unique senior portrait sessions. Sports-themed shoots showcase young athletes in action, and birthday parties inside the studio capture youngsters dressed in whimsical costumes. Once each session's shutters have snapped shut, the photo artists easily print out the digital images, which, unlike film images, need not be developed inside a stolen cocoon.
