The Polished Image is a charming salon located in historic downtown Murrieta, California. Our professional, friendly staff have been working together since 1997, offering a variety of services. Customer care is our top priority; therefore we pay close attention to cleanliness to provide you with a sanitary and relaxing salo
In 2001, the first iTan Sun Spray Spa opened its doors. It had a simple goal—to make clients feel and look lovely with professional tanning services. Today, the spa has more than 20 branches around San Diego, each offering a slightly different assortment of tanning beds, spray-tanning booths, and mechanical spa services.
The Smart Tan–certified staff prioritizes keeping up with tanning technology by stocking state-of-the-art tanning beds such as the Sun Angel, which uses sensors to customize a blend of UVA and UVB rays, practically eliminating overexposure and the need to wear a beekeeper suit to detract from a burn. Many beds come equipped with stereo sound systems, misters, and fans. Just down the hall from these beauty gadgets, Mystic and airbrush machines bronze limbs without UV rays or tan crayons, and mechanical spa machines dispense relaxing red-light treatments, infrared-energy body wraps, and aqua massages.

Located a short distance from Temecula wine country, Spa Cabernet uncorks entrenched fuzz from more than 15 areas of the body, and also offers massage, skincare, and spa treatments. A Brazilian wax leaves the bikini area totally bare, preparing bodies for a day at the beach or a few hours of tanning beside a whale tank at the aquarium. Alternatively, clients can apply a credit toward other services, such as an eyebrow wax ($20), a full-leg wax ($65), a male buttocks wax ($30), or a women’s half-arm wax ($30). Each 30-minute cabernet polish instills the skin with antioxidants, using dark-wine ingredients inspired by the spa’s location. Replete with lit votives and dark wood, the spa’s minimalist décor provides a better feast for the eyes than flipping through two cookbooks simultaneously.
A recipient of Reader’s Choice honors from the North County Times and the Californian two years in a row, Perfect Tan bronzes bodies with a fleet of ultramodern tanning machines nestled amid the atmospheric glow of its chic interior. Patrons seeking a sunless bronze can opt for premier VersaSpa technology, which imparts a streak-free sheen that won’t streak onto clothes or bear-hug recipients. Clients can opt for a light, medium, or dark luster, and choose between an instantaneous bronze and a “clear” spray that manifests gradually over six hours.
About two decades ago, Kymberly Blawn began her skincare career as a beauty advisor for Lancôme. She then moved on to work for Shiseido, Prescriptives, and Chanel but soon realized that she couldn't help people with acne, rosacea, and other challenging skin types the way she wanted to. To do this, she had to go back to school, where she got her aesthetician’s license while working alongside a med-spa physician.
Today, she cares for skin with services including body sugaring and custom facials with paraben- and preservative-free Sanítas Skincare and organic Skin Fitness products. Her specialty, though, is chemical peels, which range from gentler alpha and beta peels to more potent modified Jessner's and TCA/salicylic-acid chemical peels. These take off several layers of skin to reveal the smoother skin or robot skeleton underneath.
