Kay’s Salon backs its hair services with top-shelf products from Redken, Thermafuse, and Wisconsin-made Asti. Stylists keep sharper than a pair of shears with a PhD, attending bi-annual conferences to bone up on the latest style trends and techniques, including coloring coifs with organic, vegan, and gluten-free products.
A salon of friends. That’s what the welcoming staff at Salon di Amici calls its home base. The tight-knit group makes a genuine effort to extend its bond to clients as it caters to all their haircare, skincare, and nailcare needs. Soothing green walls and rustic stone accents flank talented hairstylists in the styling area, where they treat strands to Redken, Pureology, and Moroccanoil products while trimming overgrown lengths and boosting dull color. Inside a cozy spa room, specialists indulge skin with facials and mineral-makeup applications, and therapists ease tension with massages. Cushy pedicure chairs beckon sore backs to the nail corner, where hot stones melt tension during relaxing mani-pedis.
Keith Zimmerman began cutting hair more than three decades ago, when big curls and feathered flips were all the rage. Though he has seen hairstyles come and go in the years since, Keith has never wavered in his commitment to attend regular training seminars and courses. At Keith’s Haircenter, he oversees a staff of certified Redken stylists who follow his lead in attending regional and national shows to stay abreast of new trends. The salon arranges these stylists into three tiers depending on their experience, though every last one of them can design a look inspired by your distinctive style or your favorite president’s facial hair.
Nestled inside of Sola Salon Studios, Infinique Cosmetic Skin Treatments gussies up gents and beautifies belles with a host of different spa and skin-based services, often with a twist. For instance, rather than turn to conventional hair removal methods like waxing, Infinque uses Nufree, a botanical product that produces less pain during treatments. They kick microdermabrasion up by one whole notch with Skinmaster technology. Skinmaster not only exfoliates like traditional microdermabrasion, but it also gives lift to the skin by adding machine and electrical energy. Infinique rounds off its menu of services with a full complement of customized facials, pain-controlled permanent make up applications, brow and lash tinting, lash perming, and Brazilian waxes.

At Kim's Natural Healing Touch, licensed massage therapist Kim Palmer administers massages that range from the relaxing to the therapeutic. She lulls clients into a state of tranquility with lighter pressure or targets specific aches and pains with deep-pressure treatments. Hot-stone massages warm muscles, and other massages specifically target the symptoms of afflictions such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
At Tanglz Salon, airbrush tans are administered by Kerry Hackbarth, a licensed partner of the UV-free and FDA-approved spray-tanning system known as TANS. During her 10- to 15-minute appointments, Kerry hand sprays clients from head to toe with a foundation of DHA—a colorless sugar that darkens the skin through staining—followed by a washable bronzer. Once the bronzer fades, the DHA's staining power leaves the skin up to three shades darker, with results lasting up to 10 days. To prolong results, clients should wait at least eight hours after their treatment before showering or sitting front row at the killer-whale show.
