XTG Custom Motor Sports's owner began tinting windows in 1994, and in that time, he's seen every reason imaginable for getting it done. Some customers have standard reasons such as a desire for privacy, but others have special needs that make tinting a priority?needs such as eye problems, a susceptibility to migraines, or family members who need additional UV protection. Since they use their own custom line of films, XTG has a solution to fit each of those situations. They can also install after-market parts such as sound systems, wheels and tires, and custom graphic details that help owners identify their vehicle by labeling it "Your Vehicle."
Lube Stop has been lauded by both local and national press outlets for its Sustainability Program, which decreases the environmental impact of the shop's auto services. Its signature EcoGuard oil change, for example, refreshes engines with re-refined motor oil. Lube Stop also recycles oil and antifreeze, and it plants two new oil-filter trees for every one it chops down.
Besides eight kinds of oil changes, Lube Stop provides multipoint inspections, tire rotations, wiper blade replacement, and other maintenance and repair services. More than 240 employees?who receive continuous training to keep up with eco-friendly practices?helm the company's 37 Cleveland- and Akron-area locations, all of which offer E-Check emissions-testing stations.
Since 1919, three generations of Ziegler family members and friends have overseen the vehicles that have made their way into Ziegler Tire. The 24-location auto shop, which began as a modest operation by brothers Oliver and Harold Ziegler, now enlists computerized diagnostic systems and ASE–certified technicians to scout and fix automotive maladies. The skilled technicians outfit personal and commercial vehicles of all types and sizes with new wheels and tires from brands such as Michelin, Dayton, Firestone, and Uniroyal and perform a vast repertoire of routine-maintenance services to extend the lives of automobiles and to stave off a resurgence of penny-farthing popularity.
Spitzer Autoworld has been providing exemplary auto service for more than 100 years, having gotten its start selling and leasing Ford Model Ts. With today’s deal, soiled street wagons can ungrunge their outsides for the foreseeable future with a quintet of washes ($12 value each), during which their exteriors will be lovingly cleansed of accumulated grime and restored to factory-fresh spotlessness. Dirt-averse drivers can also opt for just one exterior clean but supplement it with the added perk of a standard oil change ($35 value) to re-lubricate crusty engines and inhibit corrosion, plus a 27-point auto inspection ($45 value) to ensure the car still has at least 27 parts.
With lube and service centers spread across America, Valvoline Instant Oil Change ensures that roads from coast to coast teem with automotive vigor. Certified technicians perform a roster of services, including quick in-and-out oil changes that allow motorists to arrive without an appointment and remain in their car while Valvoline oils forge a truce between metal parts. Facilities also encourage odometers to reach up to 300,000 miles with an engine-guarantee program that helps motors live long enough to see tow trucks go extinct. Valvoline extends its care to cars of all makes and models as well as charitable organizations.
Amid the uncertainty and complex nature of the aviation industry in the early 2000s, Denise and Mike decided to buck opposition and follow their dreams. The husband-and-wife team kept their dream relatively simple: move to northeast Ohio, secure season tickets for the Indians and Browns, and open up the world of flight to others. They soon took Mike's 35 years experience as an entrepreneur and Denise's time as a commercial pilot and turned it into American Winds Flight Academy. Today, their flight academy preps prospective pilots with FAA-approved ground courses and hands-on instruction in their fleet of Piper and Cessna airplanes and accommodating pterodactyls. The duo's 15-plus flight-training courses and fast-track program include everything from advanced flight-simulator instruction to commercial-pilot certification. Dedicated to assisting veterans on their path to become commercial pilots, American Winds Flight Academy is one of 12 FAA-licensed (Part 141) flight schools in the state of Ohio.
