Gotham Writers' Workshop teaches more than 7,000 students every year how to tackle and tame the writing process in a creative learning environment. Professional writers help students to develop characters and generate ideas before a structured dialogue encourages classmates to comment on strengths and weakness, improving final drafts and abilities to stand up to playground bullies. Gotham also provides follow-up services and bolsters the communication skills of experienced writers, teenagers, and muffled mummies alike with private instruction and tips found in its book, Writing Movies.

Gymboree offers a bevy of baby-engaging classes in which parents and wee ones work together to build the tot's creativity and encourage development through play. Weekly classes are available for little ones ranging from the freshly born sapling to the four-years-young wise wanderer. This deal includes rhythm-building music classes, imagination-expanding art classes, mobility-enhancing sports classes, and Gymboree's most popular class, Play & Learn. The month-long membership allows you to take one class per week, with make-ups available during enrollment if you miss a class. ASFA Dance's experienced dance instructors, led by American Ballet Theatre–certified cofounders Artemis Gregoriou and Mariana Sanchez, draft and lead dance curricula, teaching students to master proper technique and build their confidence. The passionate staff utilizes expertise gleaned from extensive dance experience, certifications, and conversations with retired nutcrackers to mentor twirlers of all ages, from 3-year-olds to adults, in several dance styles. Classic ballet, modern ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop courses hone dancing skills and techniques, and fitness classes, including kickboxing and Zumba, whip bodies into shape between dance sessions.

In the late 1970s career educators Eileen and Raymond Huntington opened the first Huntington Learning Center in Oradell, New Jersey. Their goal was to take an individualized approach to education, adjusting instructional tactics according to each student's set of needs. Their success in helping K–12 students prepare for exams and improve grades and study skills quickly spawned franchises across New York and New Jersey.

Today, the certified Huntington tutoring staff utilizes testing and rubrics for assessing each child's skills, academic needs and potential for growth. The teachers even note the student's behavior in different testing and academic situations to craft a methodology sensitive to each child's learning style. Teachers also adhere to the company's code of ethics that stresses professionalism and confidentiality and encourages pupils to improve their grades honestly through dedicated study rather than shortcuts.
