At Mountain Valley Guides, the kayaking team allows customers to heed Sal?s thoughts and explore the river's expanse of open water, marshes, islands, and cliffs.
The instructors at EMS Schools traverse rocky, paved, and watery terrain from New England down to Virginia, imparting people with their love of the outdoors along the way. Dating back more than 40 years, the EMS Climbing School teaches pupils of all ages the tenets of climbing through introductory classes and more advanced maneuvering in self-rescue, alpine climbing, and glacier-skills classes. The watery wing of EMS's operation includes kayaking and standup-paddleboard lessons, which can help students earn certification in these water-bound endeavors, and group tours. EMS-led bike tours trace a path through the rolling hills of the Berkshires, the mansions of Newport, as well as the powdered-sugar-topped White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Designed for paddlers of all skill levels aged 11 and over, Hudson River Kayak Tours leads groups along picturesque aquatic arteries. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a guided tour of the Stony Point lighthouse and battlefield, or push off from Mine Dock Park in Fort Montgomery and paddle toward Popolopen Creek Gorge, heading toward a beautiful waterfall, under bridges, and alongside a bird sanctuary. In addition, every Thursday and Friday, paddlers compete with the sun to see who can make it to Iona Island first.

Paddle boarding and kayaking is amazing fun and a great workout. I love to see all the smiling faces after a great day on the water.
Sometimes it's all about the little things in life. What supplemental courtesies do you include with your main services to leave clients with a smile on their face?
This year, we added a sandy beach with cozy chairs and relaxing palm trees. We also offer stand up paddle yoga, ladies night, full moon paddles, and party events.

We are experienced and certified in stand-up paddle boarding, and we can answer questions and ensure your safety. We also have boards for sale, and we recommend trying a board before you buy.
Even with more than 20 years of teaching experience behind her, Robin Bray continues to broaden her understanding of core-conditioning techniques and mind-body work. She brings her continually expanding knowledge to Fitness Barre, where she helps students of all ages and fitness levels develop stronger, leaner, and more toned bodies over time.
The boutique fitness studio embraces barre-style workouts, which combine elements of core-strengthening exercises, Pilates, yoga, orthopedic stretching, and isometric movements alongside a ballet barre to create a low-impact exercise regimen for the entire body. Over the course of 60 minutes, students will perform sequences of small, controlled movements followed by deep, sustained stretches. Instructors may incorporate light weights into the class and more advanced sessions intensify the challenge by proceeding at a more rigorous pace.
Downunder Fitness and Surf’s SurfSET and SUPnSURF classes offer a fun alternative to jogging on a treadmill or other traditional exercise methods. While standing or lying facedown on simulators, pupils learn surfing and standup paddleboarding basics without going down to the ocean or having to help a mermaid retie her shell brassiere. In addition to fitness classes, Downunder Fitness and Surf offers yoga sessions on a beach or, for added difficulty, atop a floating paddleboard.
