What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Student Movers was founded and started at UC Davis with the idea that college students really know how to move. We've taken that idea to the next level and amped up our moving. Most of the movers are in fact college students attending local colleges and are ready to make your move as easy as possible.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The inspiration to start Student Movers was that being a broke college student is tough, and as a college student you move a lot. Student Movers are college students that love to move. Our movers are some of the best and brightest.
What do you love most about your job?
What Student Movers loves most about moving is helping out our customers and community. Throughout the year we donate to CHOC Children's Hospital, Move For Hunger, Brent Shapiro Foundation, Movember, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts Food Drive, and local high school mentoring programs in Orange County.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
The best feedback Student Movers ever received was from a customer who wanted us to expand and offer boxes, packing supplies, and storage. Student Movers now services cities all throughout California? including Orange County, Palm Springs, Riverside, San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Fresno.

Pirates Life Boat Rental’s staff gives passengers a map and the keys to an 18-foot Duffy electric boat so they can explore the waters of Newport Harbor while relaxing under a sun-shielding canopy. As guests rest on padded seats, their selected captain steers the boat using basic boat-operating skills provided by the Pirates Life Boat Rental staff prior to take-off. While guests are welcome to bring along their own food and alcohol, they can also indulge in company-catered cuisine or dine at one of the area's many waterfront restaurants. Although small lap dogs are welcome aboard, extra fees may apply for pups that heavily shed or refuse to wear floaties and a snorkel.
Most gyms offer personal training as a supplement to other programs. Precision Fitness makes personal training the sole focus of its work. Professional trainers design each workout according to each member's individual needs and goals, such as losing weight or running a marathon. Combining cardio and strength training with nutrition counseling, they teach proper technique as well as healthy eating habits, such as consuming plenty of fruits and vegetables instead of still-life portraits of fruits and vegetables. Trainers provide members with an array of motivational tools on Facebook, including helpful tips and nutritional charts.
