For more than 25 years, Kiddie Kollege has fostered a love of learning in kids age 6 weeks–12 years, offering safe, nurturing day-care programs led by a caring and experienced staff. Staff members develop individual schedules for each child age 6 weeks–18 months, curious kids 18 months–3 years develop their motor coordination and confidence with structured activities, and preschool kids, age 3–5, participate in a storybook-based curriculum that introduces literacy, language, math, and science. Staff members assess each child twice a year to identify developing skills and needs. Kids age 5–12 build friendships and academic skills with book readings, games, and field trips, along with supervised science experiments where they'll learn how to transmogrify homework about physics into homework about fudgsicles. The staff-to-child ratio is four to one for infants, five to one for toddlers, eight to one for preschoolers, and ten to one for school-aged children.
With a room full of toys and no time constraints, Toddle Town & More is designed to give kids an outlet for their energy and creativity. Visitors aged 6 and younger explore age-appropriate playgrounds and don dress-up clothes in an open, safe environment, while parents observe with the help of numerous mirrors. The space is open Monday–Friday for unlimited drop-in play, ensuring sessions can fit into the busiest of schedules. A calendar of supervised programs, such as preschool, play groups, and music classes, offer little ones additional chances to learn social skills and introductory guitar solos. Toddle Town & More caters to the allergy-sensitive, and parents are asked to refrain from packing peanut products in their child's lunch bags.
In 1976, busy California mother Joan Barnes wanted nothing more than to find a play place where she and her kids could enjoy age-appropriate, educational activities. Finding none, she developed her own innovative play environment within a developmental-based program structure now known as Gymboree Play & Music. Today, kids tumble and learn in more than 650 locations in 33 countries around the world, engaging in open play and classes designed to build cognitive and motor skills. As parents participate in their children's development, their kids learn to paint, play music, and interact socially outside of their preschool knitting circles.
Stars A1 Maids has a system. In four–six steps, the staff annihilates dust and grime in each room. Steps can include washing and waxing floors or simply tidying up to create an organized space ready for a proper cleaning. Besides comprehensive house sprucing, they can also clean carpets, wash windows, and walk the family dog.
Since she was preceded by four generations of musicians, it was only natural that Shelkah Francis began playing piano at age 6. Now, with music degrees and nearly two decades of teaching experience to her name, she helps kids discover the same early love of music that has guided her through life and mythical journeys to the underworld. Kindermusik with Ms. Shelkah uses a curriculum practiced around the world that provides age-appropriate music lessons to babies, toddlers, and kids, teaching them musical aptitude as well as social skills. She also teaches youth and adults how to play individual instruments, write music, and prepare for auditions.
