For the past 15 years, owner and founder of The Yoga Studio Cathy Mann—a veteran yogi with two decades of experience—and her team of 10+ instructors have supported their client’s life quests with Hatha-yoga classes and wellness therapies. Seven days a week, students of all levels can attend a 60- to 75-minute yoga session which can accommodate those with injuries, chronic pains, and headaches. Each class—from flow yoga to gentle yoga for beginners—is designed to help reduce stress as the body receives a deep stretch and the muscles become stronger and leaner.

Along with teaching yoga classes, owner Cathy and instructor Jana—who both have 15+ years experience in the holistic healing field—also help clients restore and rejuvenate their energy levels with a variety of healing art therapies including Thai bodywork, acupuncture, and workshops on nutrition and spiritual teachings.

Josette Puig, co-owner of GetJosette Fitness Studio, admits that hitting the gym for an hour is not what makes a difference when it comes to losing weight?it's really what you eat, when you eat, and how often you eat. That's why her fitness studio's members get access to nutrition education, including nutrition plans, clean-eating recipes, and simple rules to follow, including picking out two days a week when you get to make yourself a dessert or sneak a bite from your co-worker's ice cream cone. Josette believes that healthy food is the key to burning fat, building muscle, enhancing energy, and improving sleep.

Once patrons properly fuel their bodies, they can blast calories in fitness classes such as Insanity, which relies on long bursts of maximum-intensity exercises and short periods of rest to chisel bodies, and Body Barre classes, which use ballet barre moves and heart-pumping music to sculpt muscles.

The noises and stressors of the day melt away as students find peace and quiet inside H.Y.P. Studio’s intimate workout areas. Small groups of no more than five participants gather for Pilates classes that use specialized equipment to build lithe muscles and abdominal strength. BarSculpt classes incorporate mats, weights, bands, and ballet barres to create a low-impact workout that targets fat in common problem areas along the legs, arms, and torso. Inside the yoga studios, a custom-designed heating system maintains an ideal balance of heat, humidity, and fresh oxygen, and the floors are constructed out of an antimicrobial material that prevents germs and charkas from getting trapped under the surface. Classes are held from as early as 5:45 a.m. to as late as 7.45 p.m., and students can use private shower and changing areas to get ready before and after sessions.
