Georgia Elite All Stars' staff of professional cheerleaders, gymnasts, and martial artists lead tumbling and cheer classes for students 18 months to 18 years old in a state of the art facility. Programs range from weekly tumbling sessions for toddlers new to walking to grade-school cheer teams competing in Cheersport Cheerleading and Dance Championships. But the activities offered here encompass much more than just straightforward tumbling and cheer. In the tricking class, second-degree black belt instructor covers martial arts moves that incorporate tumbling that can be seen from the facility's observation deck.
The gargantuan 27,000 square foot gymnasium at Southern Elite Gymnastics Academy (SEGA) houses scores of equipment for almost every conceivable gymnastics event. Carrie and her team of instructors acquaint students with circus-performance fundamentals using the trapeze, tight wire, Spanish web, and juggling balls. They bolster core and upper-body strength during Circus Arts Fitness workouts, which have been featured on CNN for their exciting approach to toning. For students with special needs, such as sensory challenges or ADD, they host Circus Arts Therapy classes.
