Elite Edge Training Center's team of four certified personal trainers and martial arts experts adopt a science-based approach to physical training, and work in advanced facilities that are necessary to support their methods. An onsite technician helps rehabilitate visitors with Muscle Activation Technique, a biomechanical evaluation and therapy designed to improve range of motion and miming ability. Visitors can take advantage of a turf field and smooth exercise floor with features such as stationary bikes, free weights, resistance bands, hurdles, and anvil-throwing stations.
On the turf field, instructors guide students through workout basics and interval training in all-level classes such as boot camp, strength and conditioning, and cross training. During fitness kickboxing classes, they gather groups in a padded arena filled with punching bags to practice martial arts techniques interspersed with aerobic workouts. In Brazilian jiujitsu classes, black-belt instructor James Soetebeer and trainer Jake Jo elucidate grappling techniques, ground submissions, and ground striking in the no-gi style.
With 80 classes per week in a wide array of martial arts, Team Octopus has something for everybody. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, fitness kickboxing, boxing, and strength and conditioning are all daily options; classes welcome students of all abilities and experience levels.
