After Mystic transitioned from Track & Field to a traditional career, she found it difficult to stay in shape. In 2010, she discovered fitness pole dancing and enjoyed the rush of gaining strength, dance skills, and flexibility so much that she became an instructor. Around the same time, Erotica took her first pole-dancing class, after growing bored of traditional gym workouts. That one session eventually turned into a lifestyle where she could make up new moves on the pole and share her skills with other women.

Together, Mystic and Erotica teach women how to perform sensual moves and tricks on a pole or chair through Vertically Sassy & Fit’s parties. They bring their parties to locations throughout Charlotte, giving ladies access to props in a basic lesson before opening the floor for individual performances or celebratory rituals on the pole. The duo also offers private pole-dancing lessons or semi-private lessons for up to three people.
