From its North Lauderdale and Davie locations, Galaxy Skateway launches visitors into a vortex of nifty moves, groovy tunes, and wholesome family fun. Throughout the week, both venues crank up energy levels with special events. On Fridays and Saturdays, doors remain open later into the evening, and on Flashback Thursdays, music from the 1970s and 80s helps skaters explore the past without having to spin super fast to induce time travel. But no matter the day or decade, Galaxy always surrounds its guests with an impressive lineup of amenities, including a full-service snack bar, video game areas, a pro shop, and a full fleet of regular and in-line skates, available for rental.
The Last Picture Show Movie Theatre is more than a movie theater; it's also a celebration of film culture. This is evident upon entering, when you're greeted by a museum-like display of artifacts: classic film posters and movie memorabilia. This motif continues onto the screen. While The Last Picture Show screens newer movies, it also hosts classic film festivals, where film buffs can settle in to see their favorite classics?think West Side Story and Casablanca?on the big screen.

Baseball and softball players of all skill levels descend upon Extra Innings' 18,000-square-foot indoor facility to hone home-run-hitting swings and more. Players can swing, pitch, or field for 60 minutes inside one of the five indoor hitting tunnels that stretch 70 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 30 feet high as adjustable pitching machines sling unlimited fastballs toward the plate at speeds of up to 90 miles per hour. The facility outfits hitters with bats and helmets for no additional charge, and each tunnel is equipped with an L-screen, a pitcher's mound, and sliding nets that can transform the cage into an open-field area for practicing fielding skills and ribbon-dancing routines.
Tired, sleepy kids are a natural byproduct of a celebration at Jump Jam n Party. During most of that party time, kids can be found leaping into the air inside bounce houses or scrambling up the rock climbing wall to see if their moms really do have eyes in the back of their heads. Awash in primary colors, the room teems with activities for kids 14 and under, with a private soft-play area for toddlers. Staff members faithfully keep an eye on kids to ensure safety and help parents in the party room corral guests and hand out food and cake. When adults need a time-out because they've had too much fun, they can escape to the adult area for a breather.
