The instructors at Chi's Martial Arts Training Center work to hone the physiques and mental self-discipline of their students. Led by extensively certified owner and master instructor Sifu Charles R. Chi, self-defense experts lead kids through moves that can help develop motor skills and boost self-confidence. Adult students can get heart rates pumping in fitness-centric classes inspired by mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and archival videos of Richard Simmons doing the wave.
British Swim School's instructors know that swimming, splashing, diving, and cannonballing are loads of fun. But they also know that swimming is an important survival skill, one that's especially vital for young children. For the last 30 years, they've led lessons that give kids the tools they need to have fun and be safe, too. Swim instruction covers all the basics, including teaching kids how to float on their back—a technique the staff believes is one of the most important water survival skills. Instructors teach students as young as 3 months, and lead small-group classes for adult beginner and intermediate swimmers, as well.
