Sen Bistro’s menu of slow-cooked beef stews, shrimp stir-fries, and rice-vermicelli plates expands palates with the authentic tastes of distant Vietnam. Spring rolls pop with the fresh colors of local produce, and crunchy-chewy baguettes conceal slices of grilled pork, chicken, or lemongrass and tofu. Bowls of pho unite noodles with sliced, rare brisket and fragrant Vietnamese spices, warming mouths with hot broth before after-dinner treats of small-batch iced coffee.
Grab a bagel ring for all 12 fingers ($10.95 a dozen), or grab an individual for a baby bracelet ($1.14 per bagel). Many toppings, cream cheeses, and spreads are also available. Although Bagel Me!'s name is both direct and delicious, the menu expands beyond the realm of the round. Breakfast items such as gooey cheddar and egg melts served alongside cinnamon baked apples ($4.19) and freshly blended smoothies ($4.39) will cause smiles at sunrise. Afternoon diners can hang fangs on tri-tip steak sandwiches such as the jalapeno-pineapple pairing, loaded liberally with caramelized onions, Tillamook cheddar, and monterey jack cheese ($7.49). Or fork up a variety of starters, such as Irish nachos based in French fries and topped with bacon, onions, cheddar and jack cheeses, and lucky wishes ($5.79).
Begin your yogurtsperience by skiing down a slope made from one of four flavors: natural, pomegranate, mango, or blueberry. Then trigger an avalanche of toppings, engulfing your chosen base in wave after wave of fresh fruits such as lychee, pineapple, and peaches or more toothsome cashews, chocolate chips, and even Captain Crunch. A single serving of plain yogurt goes for $2.50, while a single with up to three toppings costs $3.45. You can also nab a yogurt be-dolloped fruit salad ($4.50–$5.25) or blend it all together for an on-the-go smoothie ($4.95).
