Breweries, restaurants, your very own home—nowhere is off-limits for The Paint Social. A workshop leader gathers a rainbow of acrylic paint tubes, grabs a stack of 16x20 canvases, and uses a net to catch a gaggle of paintbrushes from the sky before hightailing it to that day's workshop location. If it's a Paint Brunch, the one-to-three-hour workshop will take place at a café. If it's a Taste & Paint, it'll be at a winery or brewery, and the session will include a tasting. If it's a private event, it'll be at someone's home. These social workshops aren't academic lessons. Instead, they're fun, friendly events that require no previous painting experience.
A father-son team, David and Art McCullar hold Master Level II certification as brain technologists and founded their practice to help others find physical and mental relief by understanding the operations of the body's resident supercomputer. The technology utilized by the NeuroFitness Center focuses on encouraging the brain to change itself using simple stimuli to evoke the patterns associated with positive feelings and thoughts, such as relaxation or finding a quarter. While the company may use results in its continuing research, it never associates clients' names with statistics and closely guards each individual's information with security measures that exceed federal expectations.

Powerhouse Gym equips weightlifters and cardio bunnies alike with all they’ll ever need to keep—or create—a tight and toned physique. The gym offers equipment outfitted with personal TVs as well as a cast of certified and knowledgeable personal trainers. As the name suggests, the trainers at every BODY believe people of all ages and fitness levels can live longer and healthier lives by exercising. They’ve put together a lineup of classes that target specific areas of the body, such as Belly Be Gone and Booty Boot Camp, as well as age-specific classes that pair clients with appropriate workouts and nutrition education. The Discussion Group class fosters a community where students facing similar issues find the support and motivation necessary to face their most daunting fitness challenges and bathroom-scale poltergeists.

East Essence Chef, LLCprovides the public with opportunities to learn the recipes and cooking styles common to halal cuisine. Part of the company's educational mission takes place in a classroom, where Chef Nicholas Eaton teaches small groups halal cooking techniques while carefully observing dietary strictures. In his classroom, he uses meats from halal-approved suppliers, as well as knives, utensils, and cookware prepared without ever touching alcohol. He blends traditional halal recipes with a bit of international flair, thanks to his time spent cooking everywhere from Florida to Germany.
East Essence also organizes public events where visitors can learn other cooking techniques, sample recipes, and meet people also interested in the halal lifestyle. The team helps organize events such as the Halal Food Festival, a full-day gathering of chefs and diners that includes cooking demonstrations, tastings, and more.
