Operating for more than a decade, Piedmont Avenue Pumpkin Patch both hosts Halloween outings and brings autumnal revelry to you. The expansive pumpkin patch and halloween store sell 15 types of pumpkins, as well as fall essentials such as gourds, masks, spider webs, and multicolored Indian corn. A harrowing haunted house tests visitors’ adrenal glands with dark corners, spooky sounds, and a befuddling maze. In addition to supplying frights, the staff also constructs pumpkin patches off site, redecorating homes and offices with pumpkins, straw bales, and house-trained scarecrows.
Inside this newly opened salon, a red wall provides an eye-catching backdrop to a host of Paul Mitchell shampoos, styling gels, and color formulas. Stylists pull from this cache when performing precision cuts or color treatments. In addition to creating new hairstyles, the team readies clients for special nights out with formal updos and makeup applications.

Monkey Yoga Shala's attentive instructors help students hone energy, balance, and strength with individualized instruction in a variety of specialized yoga classes. The studio's signature Isometric Monkey yoga melds aspects of dance, martial arts, and Ashtanga yoga to create an exhilarating low-impact workout. Additionally, resistance stretches lengthen limbs as instructors personally assist students in finding their most comfortable pose. In Vinyasa classes, aspiring yogis harness deliberate breathing to flow through asanas and backbends with the grace of a swan performing downward-facing dog. New mothers gather for 90-minute Mom & Baby sessions, toting tots through a series of mind-body exercises designed to increase energy and facilitate more focused baby-bottle juggling. Monkey Yoga's flexible roster of early-morning and late-night classes beckons participants to the spacious studio, which glows with natural light and hardwood floors polished well enough to reflect the radiance emanating from students? auras.
Under the tutelage of expert instructors, each three-hour Play With Clay class yields at least three finished pots of your very own making, if not more. After exploring the ancient art of ceramics during the session, students of all ages and skill levels return to the studio, anywhere from two weeks to four months later, to fire and glaze their creations. Multiple classes, each capped at six pupils, unfold six days a week, resulting in pottery that ranges in size from 8 inches to well beyond 12. Experienced potters are also welcome to join the studio, where they'll find 24-hour access to 10 electric pottery wheels, plus books detailing the subtle differences between actual potters and Harry Potter.
