Run by James Lang, a third-generation printer, Horwinski Printing Company incorporates contemporary technology into its historic printing processes. In keeping with its roots, the company hasn't changed much of its original equipment. For example, it still uses antique wood type and authentic foundry metal hand-set type that dates as far back as 1906, the same year Teddy Roosevelt won the Nobel Peace Prize and started collecting commemorative pennies. In addition to creating invitations, announcements, posters, and other prints, guests are invited to attend hands-on classes and tour the print shop, which is a gallery of local history and activities.

The team's expertise starts at the tires. They deal with leading manufacturers such as Michelin, BFGoodrich, and Uniroyal when folks need replacements. But their expertise also lies in helping people prolong that inevitability with tire rotation, computer balancing, and ancient rubber-protecting hexes. Owners can also bring their sickly cars in for procedures ranging from oil changes and tune ups to transmission repairs.

From the Oracle Arena's 100-level seats, concertgoers can marvel at the elaborate set pieces gilding the stage as their eardrums feast like hungry dachshunds in an unmanned pizza parlor. Opener J. Drill bits twist, measuring tape unfurls, and saws chomp through two-by-fours in ACE Hardware, where shelves dangle with scores of tools and other home-improvement essentials. Wall pigment by Ace Paint and Benjamin Moore beams across the color spectrum as faucet parts and cabinet hardware retool aging abodes and jury-rigged time machines. Large appliances, such as Honeywell space heaters, Perfect Aire air conditioners, and Cadet thermostats, keep indoor air at a comfortable temperature. Outside, bags of seed and compost join charcoal grills to brighten backyard celebrations as rolling hand trucks heft heavy lumber purchases or prefab doghouses for socialite canines. Tools, electrical tape, and other handyman essentials round out each location's array of fixative and creative supplies.

Hershey Theatre

The Hershey Theatre, conceived in 1933 by noted philanthropist and chocolatier Milton S. Hershey, stands as an opulent tribute to the performing arts. Taking architectural cues from Saint Mark’s Basilica in Venice, the foyer’s towering arches gleam with golden paint and crystal chandeliers. The blue-and-gold mosaic that leads to the main seating area is the masterwork of two German artists who spent two years on its construction. Once inside the theater, audiences might think they’ve stepped onto the streets of Venice thanks to the atmospheric ceiling, stonework facades, and gondoliers paddling them to their seats. ####Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Music has permeated the 800 manicured acres where the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has stood since 1969, when farmer Max Yasgur agreed to let love, peace, and harmony grow wild at the very first Woodstock festival. These days, the renowned outdoor venue and cultural center continues to attract the biggest acts in music to its pavilion stage. The open-air design ensures ample ventilation on the natural sloping lawn, and a roof protects up to 15,000 fans from inclement weather and the prying eyes of Cessna pilots.
