For more than 25 years, the Festival of Orchestras has attracted internationally renowned symphony orchestras to fill central Florida with the crashing thunder of brass instruments and the melodious vibrations of strings. Hearken to the harmonious reverberations of the German State Philharmonic, playing its first U.S. tour and featuring conductor Philippe Entremont, whose enigmatic conducting style has inspired musicians and accidentally opened intergalactic wormholes. With this deal, you'll get to witness the orchestra at Longwood's Northland Performing Arts Center, called a "music lover's dream" by the Orlando Sentinel for its wide seats and warm acoustics. The program includes a sweeping performance of historically moving pieces, including Weber's Oberon Overture, a piano concerto by Mozart, and Mahler's Symphony no. 4. Call 407-539-0245 to reserve spots for a free optional pre-concert lecture at 6:30 p.m.

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses celebrates more than 25 years of stirring virtual adventure and memorable soundtracks with live orchestral renditions of the videogame franchise's lush aural landscapes. Arranged by music director Chad Seiter, the concert's four-movement symphony regales ears with Nintendo composer Koji Kondo's original music that spans 15 Zelda games, recalling moments of Link conquering dungeons, running through forests, and struggling to decide what color of tunic to wear. Conductor Eimear Noone leads the full chorus and symphony with the same skills that earned her the opportunity to orchestrate the soundtrack to World of Warcraft and conduct the musical score of Starcraft II: Wind of Liberty.

In support of her high-decibel new album, Rihanna kicks off her hotly anticipated LOUD tour with emphatic gusto and a sizzling roster of special guests. Like an art show at a sundae bar, the LOUD tour floods the senses, enchanting audiences with lavishly designed sets, myriad costume changes, move-busting dancers, and Rihanna's songbook of Grammy magnets. Crooner Cee Lo Green augments the songful offerings with his own vocal talents, and Roc Nation rapper and rhythm scientist J. Cole further helps resuscitate ear drums traumatized by the outside world's blaring car horns and shrill howler monkeys.

The Imperial Symphony Orchestra is an approximately 80-member coterie of melodically-minded do-gooders, largely made up of volunteer musicians, who provide high-quality entertainment. Today’s deal gets you a best-available reserved seat to all five of the orchestra’s 2010–2011 Masterworks performances, which celebrate the accomplishments of some the world’s finest, most eccentric composers. The initial, October 5 concert kicks things off by traversing the fifth symphonies and concertos of such storied composers as Beethoven, Bach, and Tchaikovsky, whose Symphony no. 5, movement II revealed that Paul was dead and John was the walrus nearly a century before it became popular knowledge. Future concerts include Respighi’s Pines of Rome and symphonized Christmas music featuring a kinetic kick from members of Florida Dance Theatre.
