Studio 18 owner and founder Alex Kazmarck opened a full-service dance center when he was just beginning to learn the art of dance. He wanted to create a welcoming space “for the student, by the student,” a place that allowed him and others to practice every dance style. Today, Studio 18 offers three beautiful ballrooms where students of all levels take learn ballroom, Latin, and swing. Styles range from the cha cha’s quick-stepping hip movements Cha to the waltz’s graceful glides.
The staff also hosts Zumba, belly dancing, and hip-hop classes, and will help couples coordinate their wedding dances to ensure they don’t spend their first dance constantly crashing into the cake. And you can let loose and show off your new moves during nightly dance practice parties and bachelorette parties.
Rachel Schoenstein has earned certifications for personal training, nutrition consulting, and group fitness instructing, including for specific classes such as TRX suspension training and KBA kettlebell training. In order to maximize her diverse fitness training background, she opened Fitness Mogul, where she and her staff?many of them certified Zumba instructors?schedule everything from personal training sessions to group fitness classes such as Zumba and kickboxing. For exercisers who want to try something new but don't want to break into the zoo to lift the rhino, the studio reserves studio space for pole- and chair-dancing classes and private pole-dancing parties.
There are as many exercise goals out there as there are exercisers, and Fitness Invasion has the classes and know-how to help every one of them become a reality. The studio offers both personal training with its team of professional trainers and group classes that get students moving and sweating in unison. Students looking to bulk up in the muscle department can sign up for a kettle bell class, while those hoping to slim down might choose dance-based Zumba or High Intensity Interval Training for their fun, high-energy atmospheres.
The experienced staff at Inspirations Dance & Fitness Center lead a variety of dance and dance-based fitness classes that are inspired by their own artistic careers. The studio is run by Melissa Brown, who received her first professional dance gig at the age of 14. She has trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and street dance. After working with recording artists and at a fitness facility, Melissa became a certified Zumba instructor and now leads group classes at Inspirations. She uses her diverse background and passion for dancing to inspire her clients to get in shape and learn to love working out.
Dance Time of New Jersey’s expert teachers lead students of all experience levels across the wooden floors during various dance classes. They teach a variety of styles, such as ballroom, Argentine tango and swing, and encourage students to try out their new skills during social dance parties. These parties help students contextualize their lessons by practicing with a variety of partners and conducting exceedingly formal small talk.
