Every stylist onsite has different specializations, including razor cuts, updos, and custom coloring. However, the salon's services aren't limited to the scalp; employees can also wax unwanted hair, apply cosmetics for special occasions, and airbrush bodies with sunless spray tans.

For Dalissa Sanchez, creating beauty is a team effort. She asks her patrons for input during services, using their guidance and her expertise as a former hair-color educator and industry speaker to create styles that naturally flatter each client's best features. As a stylist and aesthetician, she relies on vitamin-infused treatments that strengthen hair and skin; as a nail technician she hydrates limbs with paraffin and arctic algae so that clients don't have to plunge their arms in bubbling geothermal springs. During makeup applications, for which Sanchez's portfolio covers everything from formal occasions to special effects, she perfects faces with airbrush foundation and long-lasting eyelash extensions.

The attentive staff at Revo Nails & Spa festoons fingers and toes with a glossy array of nature nails, acrylic nails, and CND Shellac polishes. But that's just the final step in relaxing nail regimens that include foaming sea-soak whirlpool baths, reflexology massages, and meticulous grooming and buffing services. Lest extremities have all the fun, the staff also brings complexions to a radiant glow with nourishing facials and subdues tension in the muscles with Swedish and deep-tissue massages, also designing packages for brides or those playing the role of king, queen, or spoiled mayor for a day.

Since 2007, the walls at Hudson & Fouquet Salon have been filling up with accolades, from Best of Annapolis and Best of Baltimore. The salon's minimalistic, spacious interior is punctuated by black leather chairs, where clients recline before appointments with a talented team who make hair their sole focus. Their cuts, color, and styling treatments overhaul heads, forming freshly clipped strands into new frames to complement faces.

From her 20s through her 40s, Dotty Holoubek struggled with cystic acne. Ultimately, Holoubek conquered it—not only on her own face but on others’ as well—after training at Chesapeake School of Esthetics. At her eponymous skincare clinic, she tends acne-prone complexions with Environ products, whose Vitamin A promotes collagen production. The products also combat two of Dotty’s other pet issues, rosacea and sun-damage. Another one of her specialties, microcurrent facial sculpting, beams eight different waveforms into epidermis, activating facial muscles to minimize wrinkles. Certified in oncology aesthetics, Dotty can also craft custom skincare treatments for people living with cancer.
