First, there are drinks. Many of the classes at Liquid Canvas begin with education about a beverage—whether it's wine or something nonalcoholic—that participants sip before diving into the creative process. Each painting session focuses on a different composition, including flowers, whimsical trees, and unsteady wineglasses. Experienced artists take the lead, sharing tips with students as they tend to their canvases and explaining such painterly concepts as the rule of thirds and why ponytails don't make good brushes. Set to upbeat music, the classes are meant to be relaxed and social, and each participant gets to take their completed masterpiece home.

Lucky Duck Aviation's FAA-certified flight instructors have created a unique step-by-step curriculum to help the land-locked proceed into the clouds. Flying Cessna 172s in their lessons and tours, Lucky Duck equips amateur pilots with the necessary tools to safely fly as a hobby or profession while learning to avoid nomadic gangs of flying saucers. The trained pilots also give guided tours of 30–60 minutes so passengers can behold some of Utah’s most notable sites, such as the Red Butte Gardens, Robert Smithson’s Spiral Jetty, and local wildlife.
