Jumping Jungle features eight brightly colored inflatables, but green is the most prominent color. That's because the 10,000-square-foot family-owned facility prides itself on being ecofriendly and uses earth-friendly products to clean all of its equipment daily. That equipment includes an 18-foot slide, private indoor bounce rooms, bounce houses, and obstacle courses, available for open-jump sessions and birthday parties. In addition to inflatable fun, Jumping Jungle offers arcade games, as well as a viewing area for parents, which includes free WiFi.
Shrill giggles and the pitter-patter of tiny, sock-swathed feet echo off the walls of Pump It Up, where lilliputian guests pinball through a metropolis of inflatable slides and bouncy enclosures. Children can bounce and slide in a clean and climate-controlled venue while parents can take advantage of parent areas.
Tomato plants are imperfect, yielding just as many inedible fruits as the healthy, tasty ones. The organizers of The Tomato Bash devised an alternative employment for the unworthy bounty, transforming the leftover tomatoes into ammunition for a massive ketchup making party. Participants are encouraged to sport silly costumes for the big event, as they are inevitably going to get utterly filthy.
To kick off the festivities, revelers are entertained with a cadre of food trucks, beverage vendors, and DJ playing tunes, including rebellious anthems encouraging the tomatoes to throw themselves. At 3 p.m., the tomato foam machine outside of the tomato arena powers up, pumping the stage area full of bubbly, pink fruit foam. Then the hordes of goggle-clad contestants descend upon a large arena and lose themselves in a sea of red goo.
A barn, a large 120x200-foot indoor arena, two outdoor rings, custom-made jumps, and grass pastures. Baymar Farms' facilities obviously require a lot of space, and they have it—the training center sprawls over 30 pastoral acres. Since 1970, aspiring equestrians have turned to Baymar Farms for lessons in both English- and Western-style riding. Trainers teach private lessons, group lessons, and summer riding programs for riders of all ages.
Following its recent expansion, Rebounderz boasts more than 21,000 square feet of bouncing throughout three trampoline surfaces. Both kids and adults leap, jump, and flip through the space, just bouncing around or playing high-velocity games of trampoline dodgeball. At the foam pit, guests test their aerobatic skills and before landing softly into cloud-like masses of foam. The facility also has a four-lane basketball slam dunk runner. These feats create a serious cardio workout, and guests in need of a break can breathe heavily toward the arcade where they can play games to win prizes or relax in the cafe with a smoothie or slice of pizza. For special occasions such as birthdays, parents can book one of four party rooms, including the basketball room replete with a basketball court, jump time, pizza, and a party assistant.
Twenty-eight armed soldiers swarm between two stories, ducking and weaving to avoid the sharp eyes of their opponents. Or so the story often unfolds during laser-tag sessions in FunTime America’s state-of-the-art laser-tag arena. Though it may be the most adrenaline-pumping portion of the family-friendly play place, it's but an introduction to the variety of attractions that unfolds before visitors. Guests helm bumper cars, take flight in helicopters, or race to scale the 20-foot climbing wall, whose foothold arrangements offer four difficulty levels from easy to easy for people with wings. Once playtime comes to a simmer, the video-game arcade really shines with its air-hockey tables and sit-down games that take imaginations on the road to their pixilated lands. After kids have tired themselves out, they can refuel at the USA Cafe with pizza, pretzels, and other fare to boost energy before another go around the center beckons.
