Under the supervision of Dr. Jon Dresser, a staff of nurse practitioners and registered nurses bolsters client confidence and boosts well-being with noninvasive aesthetic services. Qualified medical staff employ the Palomar StarLux 500 laser?which is outfitted with broadband light energy, a vacuum, and a cooling system?to optimize laser hair-removal treatments and acne or anti-aging facials. Qualified medical staff administer all laser therapies and inject dermal fillers such as Botox, reassuring patients with expert medical advice about their results, aftercare, and probability of attaining immortality. The space's capacious waiting room is painted an energizing shade of lime green, and scattered sofas and oriental rugs exude a welcoming, homey feel.
With a steady hand and special adhesive, Janina breathes new life into clients? eyelashes. She applies special flare eyelash extensions to existing lashes, bulking up the eyeline for everyday wear or for special occasions. The extensions stay in place for up to two weeks, and refill appointments can lengthen the lifespan.
The trained technicians at Absolute Beauty revitalize facescapes with artfully applied facial procedures utilizing sophisticated technologies. Microcurrent facials fight off fine lines with safe electrical impulses, tapping out orders to muscles in Morse code to firm up and increase the production of collagen, temporarily tightening the face after one treatment and building muscle memory after several more. Ultrasound facials shiver off dead cells with an exfoliating high-tech hum, ultimately opening up skin for rejuvenating hydration and moisturizing. In addition to treating faces to space-age pampering, Absolute Beauty supplements epidermal diets with vitamin C enzyme applications in every treatment.
Waxing is among the most economical of non-permanent hair-removal treatments, allowing you to stay smooth but still compete in a playoff legbeard competition when the need arises. Reshape or separate Siamese brows ($15) or clear your upper lip and chin ($10 each) to clear a smooth surface for better novelty-moustache adhesion. Or just skip the specifics and get a full face of water-wicking skin. Migrate away from the mug and take care of overly insulated arms ($35) or a pair of leggy walking arms ($70). Prepare for beach season with a Brazilian ($45+) or its front-sided cousin, the stomach wax ($15+).

Q&A with Melody Jones, Owner
Why did you decide to start this business?
Although Physical Connections only recently celebrated its grand opening, fitness, massage and nutrition have always been a big part of my life. I owned a mobile fitness business for 10 years, and I have contributed to the health and wellness industry since 1988. After battling cancer for five years, I personally identify with the importance of staying healthy and being fit for longevity. I bring life experience as well as education to my business.
Do you use any products or brands you're particularly proud of? What makes them uniquely effective?
For massage clients, I use Biotone massage lotion, and I apply warm, steamed towels to remove any excess lotion. Yoga classes have access to prop blocks for assisting in movements. I customize Meal plans as well as personal training sessions.
A pinched nerve. A tweaked muscle. An out-of-whack joint. For most people, these ailments represent an inevitable facet of the aging process; for massage therapist Karin Ward, they represent an opportunity for improvement. Karin uses her sessions to jumpstart the healing process with therapeutic bodywork learned over a 13-year career. Whether she's easing nagging pain with gentle Swedish strokes or targeting deeper discomfort with the help of soothing hot stones, Karin delivers treatments that leave her clients rested, relaxed, and ready to face the day's next challenge.
