Past events include the Lake Mary Fall Festival, a family-friendly soiree with face painting, arts and crafts, and artisanal beer, and the Muscle N Chrome event blending craft beer with powerful coupes and exotic choppers. The Lounge visits their roaming parties on venues for only a few hours at a time, then disappears without a trace like a bartender moonlighting as a magician.

With a collection sprawling across three floors, the Orange County Regional History Center divulges 12,000 years of central Florida history through permanent and limited-run exhibits. Snap! Orlando unravels a city-wide canvas for more than 50 renowned photographers and emerging local talents to showcase their shutterbug prowess. Stretched across a dozen different venues, including art galleries, cafés, and exhibition spaces, the multi-day celebration unites both photography novices and veteran collectors under the same creative banner. On Friday, an artist reception launches the festivities with live talks from featured visionaries, and on Saturday, a fashion show shifts the spotlight from portraits to patterns with bold new styles inspired by some of the event’s creative minds. Attendees can also drop in on a lineup of lectures, workshops, and guest speakers who will be on hand to discuss their areas of expertise or demonstrate their go-to dance moves for developing a Polaroid.
Inspired by the American frontier, Prickly Pear Steakhouse lends Southwestern flavors to its menu of classic steak-house dishes. Chipotle adds a kick to chicken wings and hamburger buns embrace barbecue sauce, smoked cheddar cheese, and cuts of beef and buffalo. Steaks such as the marbled rib eye join the 18-ounce cowboy steak, which dons a pasilla-chili crust. Meals are complemented by wines and cocktails including nine varieties of margaritas and the Prairie Martini, a gin-and-champagne concoction served on an Oregon Trail floppy disc coaster.
In 2009, Melissa Garnier opened a small produce co-op, seeking to save money on her grocery bill while providing her five children with healthy, fresh fruits and vegetables. Today, that co-op has grown into The Neighborhood Garden, a company that regularly supplies 200 Jacksonville families with fresh meats, local honey, dairy goods, and certified organic produce from Albert's Organics in Sarasota. Patrons can pick up pre-ordered edibles from 17 locations, or opt for delivery service.
