The Golf Club at Vistoso’s PGA Director of Instruction Noreen Chrysler draws from 16 years of coaching experience to sculpt rough-edged swings into smooth, dependable motions that result in tee-to-green success. Opt for a package of one or three private lessons and receive one-on-one swing therapy to correct chronic slices, shore up unreliable putting strokes, or determine whether or not your sand wedge is living a fulfilling life. During couples lessons, divot-tearing duos pulverize orbs in unison under Noreen’s watchful eye, allowing clients to learn from the triumphs and mistakes of their cohorts. With each lesson package, clients receive a commensurate number of sessions at the club’s expansive driving range, where clients sidle up to one of more than 20 hitting stalls to launch practice spheres at distant targets or hovering weather balloons of prey.

A former junior college all-American and U.S. Amateur qualifier, PGA-certified professional Denny Alberts draws from 20 years' experience of teaching and playing to foster dependable swings and lower scores. During lessons, Denny videotapes his pupils' swings, using a camera capable of capturing 1,200 frames per second and suspected of stealing the souls of gullible nine irons. With the help of slow-motion review, Denny pinpoints any swing deficiencies, and begins the arduous process of correcting bad habits and retraining muscles through swing drills, teaching aids, and his own internal encyclopedia of hard-won swing wisdom.
Adhering to the notion that an effective golf swing takes thousands of forms, Denny seldom attempts to reconstruct swings completely, but rather focuses on correcting swing mechanics that matter, such as ball contact, stance, and crowd-pleasing putt and struts.
The Wildcat Trail is a network of well-maintained golf courses that take advantage of Arizona's sprawling and scenic landscapes. The network provides partnerships and membership access to seven different Tucson courses, one for each day of the week or one for each finger on the standard golf glove. Arizona National Golf Club, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., provides expansive views of the Santa Catalina Mountains, and The Golf Club at Vistoso⎯named a Best Public Course in Tucson⎯boasts a 4.5-star rating from Golf Digest. The Wildcat Trail's staff are happy to facilitate vacation planning to area courses or assist with event planning for as many as 288 golfers.
Awarded with Golf Digest's Best Places to Play in 2006, 2007, and 2008, Crooked Tree Golf Course is distinguished for its beautiful surroundings in the Sonoran Desert that lends its landscape features into immaculate course play. The design team of PGA Hall of Famer Lee Trevino and Dave Bennett sculpted the course in 1977, orchestrating an 18-hole layout that cleaves through indigenous groves of ironwood trees, mesquite plants, and saguaro cacti. As golfers take aim at small, contoured greens, they can take comfort in the lack of nearby homes that might otherwise provide tumbleweeds with a place to hide before knocking putts off-course.
Each of the 18 fairways at Haven Golf Course presents golfers with a lush Bermuda-grass oasis in which to craft artful divots as they traverse the par-72 track. The Arthur Jack Snyder, ASGCA design leads playing groups along 6,905 yards of the Green Valley, clustering around a large elongated lake on one side and wrapping around several residential blocks on the other. Prior to embarking on their expedition, groups can warm up at the practice facility, complete with grass tees that mimic on-course lies.
Adjacent to the main championship course lies Haven's Tortuga Golf Course, a short par-3 course with holes that measure between 50 and 90 yards. This shrunken jaunt presents beginning golfers with an easy place to take up the game and more experienced golfers a place to practice air strumming their putter.
