EveryBody Pilates’s owner Heather Crosby had a hard time feeling like herself after a traumatic car wreck in 1995; that is, until she discovered Pilates. The core-strengthening workouts so enriched and restored her life that she became a certified instructor to share it with others. At her studio, she and her staff provide group lessons on mats and reformers, as well as private and partner classes. They’ve also added barre workouts, TRX suspension training, and Jazzercise to their repertoire.

Bryan designed his first CrossFit class when he was stationed in Afghanistan, using any equipment he could get his hands on: sandbags, weight volleyballs, steel rods. He enjoyed the challenge and the functional fitness aspects of CrossFit and saw the connection between the CrossFit mentality and the one he had during his 20 years of service in the army. Today, he and his fellow trainers lead students of all levels through intense CrossFit classes within his high-ceilinged, well-stocked facility, using climbing ropes, massive tires, and the camaraderie of a group.

After years of teaching and practicing a variety of yoga styles, Sumit Banerjee founded Sumits Yoga. The sequences and styles students learn in his classes reflect his extensive background in Bikram and Vinyasa yoga. More important, though, he works to share yoga's incredible benefits?a toned, flexible body; a relaxed state of mind; and improved overall well-being. Sumits Yoga's classes all take place in a heated environment, so students can enjoy the added benefits that heat brings?including detoxification and increased blood flow?without standing next to a volcano.
