Joe Millen became interested in physical therapy after suffering a knee injury in high school that required surgery and extensive rehabilitation at a sports-medicine clinic. This experience—combined with time spent volunteering with children and adults with muscular dystrophy—solidified his career path. Millen went on to become a licensed physical therapist and certified manual therapist, eventually founding Impact Health and Performance.
Millen and his team treat clients with a total-body health and wellness approach. They evaluate each patient with individualized attention, viewing their overall neurological, musculoskeletal, and personal needs before considering their specific dysfunction or fitness setback.
