Linda Leibl began helping people fight the signs of aging in 1986. As a licensed aesthetician, she has devoted decades to learning about effective skincare products while working alongside medical professionals. Today she applies all of that knowledge to help her clients. As the owner of Advanced Skin Technology, she uses botanically derived, vegan products and modern technology to help them minimize the appearance of aging. Her nonsurgical face lifts use microcurrent technology to improve skin tone and texture, increasing circulation while concealing fine lines and wrinkles. She also offers facial treatments that use vitamin-rich products to hydrate and nourish or draw out the impurities that can dry the skin and cause reptiles to think we're one of their own.
Microgenesis is a safe, 60-minute facial treatment designed to beautify all skin types by combining the healing powers of Microdermabrasion (a $60 value) and Laser Genesis (a $175 value) treatments into one targeted, customized facial. A skilled aesthetician uses a fine sand tool to gently exfoliate the skin while suctioning dearly departed skin cells and old muffin crumbs from the face's outer layer. Resist the urge to eat the subsequently applied strawberry-spearmint mask, as it will erase the mask's topical benefits, which include improving skin tone, fixing broken capillaries, and hydrating the skin. Like a metaphor for life, once you think it's all over, a bright light in the form of a laser emerges from the mist to heat the upper dermis. This safe, comfortable method stimulates healthy collagen, reduces the appearance of pores, decreases wrinkles, and tightens loose hinges. The strawberry-spearmint Microgenesis process treats uneven skin tone and diffuses redness, leaving skin as silky as a dolphin torpedo.
Carl Sonder, MD is on a mission: to create beauty and happiness in a world often beset by strife. He has seen his fair share of the latter. After studying internal medicine at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Sonder served in the military as a general medical officer in Vietnam. His focus was on the treatment of severe burn injuries, and it was here that a lifelong passion for aesthetic medicine was born. After his military service, Dr. Sonder became board-certified in psychiatry and neurology, and practiced psychiatry and internal medicine in New York City for 25 years. Dr. Sonder then relocated to Arizona in 1999, and nurtured his interest in aesthetics with a series of courses and trainings in aesthetic technology and cosmetic procedures. He was recently elected to the American Academy of Hyperbaric Physicians after becoming certified in the use of the above-hospital-grade Khrunichev hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
Dr. Sonder now directs the team of doctors, nurses, and medical aestheticians at Regency Medical Spa. The clinical team combats signs of aging on the face with injectable fillers and Botox, and contours bodies with anti-cellulite mesotherapy sessions or LipoDissolve procedures. The reception area at the Phoenix facility boasts a large, reddish-brown painting that mirrors the rich red floors and accentuates the brown leather chairs. The Scottsdale site is also bedecked in soothing earth tones. Both locations offer a private concierge driver service to get clients home after treatments or acquaint extraterrestrials with local businesses.
