When she was 9, Brooke Taylor tried her hand at styling for the first time on her best friend’s hair. For many children, this would have ended in disaster, but not for Brooke. Her grandmother, a trained stylist, had taught the youngster in her own salon, and when Brooke finally wielded the shears, she knew she had found her life’s calling. Today, she owns Capello Salon and manages seven other stylists, a nail technician, and an aesthetician. Their specialties range from the haircuts Brooke mastered as a preteen to coloring and hair extensions. In Capello’s spa branch, the aesthetician performs facials, applies makeup, and uses sugar to remove hair from bodies or add hair to balding gingerbread men.

At Dragonfly Salon, Lynn Cooper offers a healthier alternative to traditional, harsh products that may make some salon and spa treatments risky particularly for pregnant women. Instead, she employs holistic and sustainable products that transform clients' tresses and visages safely and effectively. With this dedication to wholesome, healthy beauty, Lynn shifts hair hues using organic hair color and scalp treatments before snipping manes into bobs, pixies, or custom styles. She rounds out looks and adds a layer of mystery to pencil-pushing locks by adding dimensional hair color and highlights.

In addition to snipping tresses, Lynn revamps brows, lips, and chins with waxing sessions or relaxes with customized facials. Her bridal and special occasion updos pair with hand- or airbrush-applied makeup to render visages beautiful in time for weddings, proms, or embezzlement trials.
